About this space
This beautiful newly renovated private basement is perfect for a comfortable stay. 10 minutes from SixFlags, 30 minutes to Atlanta, 25 minutes to Atlanta braves, Mercedes Benz stadium and State Farm arena. Stranger things arcade and other major film locations near by! NOTE: this is the downstairs of a main home. We have a toddler andalpologize in advance for the footsteps. The unit includes:

- electric recliner with charging ports and cup holders
- Kitchen w/stovetop, and dual mini fridge/wine cooler
- 4 seater dining table
- 2 full size beds
- 155” 4K projector
The space
The space includes a kitchen and dining area, full bathroom, bedroom and spacious living room. Private entrance apartment
Guest access
Self check in is available. You will have access through a private entrance using the garage.
Other things to note
We ask that guests do not wear shoes on the rug in order to maintain its integrity.

We had a good 2 night stay. I messaged the host when we got there and when we left, but no response. The “no communication” was kind of awkward since we were staying in their basement.

We booked this accommodation for 5 nights , but we were unable to stay more than 2 nights. The accommodation was uninhabitable from the upstairs noise going past 1:00 am. Also the heat and humidity made it difficult for sleeping. Unsanitary conditions, including blood on the mattress and mold in the coffee maker. I sent the owner messages about the noise without response.

Perfect place for our stay! They accommodated us for an early check in, which we were incredible grateful for after taking a red eye. The projector screen was awesome!! We hardly noticed the noises coming from the family being upstairs. One of the beds is definitely noisy & there are some definite plumbing noises… but it wasn’t bad. We would definitely stay again!

I would not stay here again. The entrance is through a garage and the code given was incorrect. I tried for 15 minutes upon arrival and it never worked. I called the owners and they opened the garage remotely. Once I was in the garage the batteries in the keypad for the door were dead and could not enter. I called again and they had to send over someone to let me in. It took over an hour in the whole process. Every time I left and came back I had to contact the owner to open the garage remotely. Overall the space is very clean and well kept other than the shower in which the drain is clogged.

The property was great and comfortable! The large screen was a plus. We had to make ourselves go to bed. Very cosy and comfortable

Nice stay

We stayed only one night. It was a nice space. Warm and comfy. Very nice entertainment room and space. Only suggestion would be to have a small refrigerator other than the wine fridge and maybe a blind/ better coverage on the bedroom window. We would def stay again when in town visiting our cousins. Thanks!

Out of the many short-term rentals I’ve stayed at, this was the most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had, and I typically stay at lower cost places, like this one, so I think my comparison is fair. I could hear the home occupants over my head clearly enough to follow their arguments.There was mold in the coffee machine when I checked in. Gnats and other flying bugs were common. There were no hand towels, kitchen towels, or even paper towels. There was no hand soap at either the bathroom or kitchen sink. There wasn’t any kind of a large bowl for popcorn or chips. The wifi info in the app was incorrect, though the wifi info in the checkin email was correct. The door keypad was difficult to see and use because of the angle and because it only unlocks for about two seconds. There was no lamp in the bedroom, only the very bright overhead light with a remote. The sectional pieces were not connected, which made it feel rather unstable.

Overall I do think it was worth it to stay here, and my friends and I had a lot of fun, however when we arrived we had difficulty getting in because the owners forgot to update the lock for the door and garage. We had a difficult time contacting them through text and call, and ended up having to knock on their door to speak to them in person. Their wifi was also different to what was listed on here, and we had to speak to them about that too after about 3 days of no response to our calls/messages. Despite these flaws the movie theatre was really nice and we had a good time watching movies, and the movie theatre area was really spacious. We did have to clean a few things like the bathroom and some of the dishes, we also ran out of dish soap very quickly and we couldn't throw out the garbage, as their bin was extremely full, but that didn't bother us very much. Sorry if this review seems a bit harsh, just trying to state plainly what we had troubles with. If you're looking for a spacious basement with its own movie theatre I do ultimately recommend staying here. Thank you for hosting! I had complaints but they are a family with young children, so I assume they were busy.
