The home was wonderful. We loved the cozy rustic Americana style with beautiful decor. Tucked away in the woods with the horse and llama made it an even better retreat. Just far enough from Estes Park so you don’t feel like a tourist. You will not be disappointed in this gem.

Clean house, nice property! We stayed here with my family for a wedding at Wild Basin Lodge. The house was just as described. We had plenty of space, and enjoyed how much nature was around us. The hosts were great, we even spoke with them personally and they helped my kids feed the animals on the property.

Beautiful cabin close to Estes

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin. We loved the personal touches and gorgeous property. We will definitely be coming back again!

Cooney Family Wedding at Wild Basin Lodge

Our daughter had her wedding at Wild Basin Lodge, 1/2 mile from this VRBO. We had 8 adults and one 10 month old. We sat outside in the wrap around deck in the mornings and evenings. We highly recommend, would stay again!

Lovely home

We had a family wedding over the road at wild basin lodge so the location was perfect and worked great for our group. Would definitely recommend if looking for a great location and lovely home. Hosts were easy to correspond with and house is in a nice quiet spot.

Beautiful Home and Area

The house was large, beautiful and comfortable but it was the huge porch that we absolutely loved. We spent as much time as possible relaxing on the wonderful porch.

Family Christmas in Allenspark

This property could not have been more perfect. The cozy atmosphere and warm potbelly stove made our trip so magical. The owners were very accommodating and helped us extend our stay when the weather across WY and SD was not conducive for travel. Everything about this home and experience made for the perfect winter vacation!

We loved our stay at Lonestar!

Everything about this property is incredible. Our extended family stayed there for my daughter's wedding at Wild Basin Lodge and everyone loved the location, the beautiful aspens and wildlife, and our hosts. We even saw a moose, elk, and deer from the relaxing front porch. Thank you for all your care!

Beautiful Setting & Cozy House

We selected this home for it's proximity to Wild Basin. The wooded setting and resident Llama and Horse made this location idyllic! The house was country cozy with a newer kitchen. The owners were very responsive to our emails. Great place for a family or group of friends!

Amazing!

We stayed 3 nights & hiked Longs Peak— less than 5 miles away from the trailhead. This is a PERFECT combination of secluded and well-appointed home. Every thing we could have needed was here. I’m so grateful we stayed at Rosemary & Brian’s cabin.

Wonderful vacation, beautiful location, could not have asked for better!

The house was perfect, lots of space, everything you could need and beautiful location. Loved the hummingbirds, the horse and llama. Elk came near one evening which was amazing. The hosts were very helpful and we love exploring the area. Rocky Mtn National Park was breath taking and not to be missed. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Beautiful Property

This house is beautiful. We stayed for Christmas and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook and bake. We loved having a white Christmas, but really would like to see this place in the summer. The wrap around deck is beautiful too! Rosemary was great with communicating and even told us a lot about the history of the cabin. So fascinating! 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Family gathering

Family gathering to remember who had passed away several years ago. We had several generations of several family groups from around the US - Kansas, Iowa, Maryland, Illinois, possibly other states. Gathering location was near Allenspark so this location was minutes from the "home site".
