Charming home in the Golfe de St. Tropez

A 10 min. drive (or free bus shuttle in season) to the beaches and a 5 min. walk to the village center. There is a lovely swimming pool (open 1.6. - 30.9.) as well as tennis courts. Private garden and upstairs terrace with views of the Meditteranean ocean and the surrounding hills. New air conditioning units in the bedrooms.
The center of the village La Croix Valmer is a few minutes walk away with all the services, restaurants, cafes and shops you could need. Every Sunday there is a great food market offering specialities of the region.
The house is also equipped with cable television and wifi.
Glamorous St. Tropez is just a short 20 min drive away. Nice, Cannes, Marseilles... are a 2 hour drive and then, of course, the entire region is dotted with other charming villages, on the hilltops and at the seaside.

Great holiday!

Lovely villa in a great location. Sea views and only a 5min walk to the centre of La Croix- Valmer. We made full use of the pool and tennis courts. Close proximity to the beaches with great restaurants to choose from. All in all a great week. Wish we could have stayed longer! We'll be back! Edward

A charming property on the edge of the village

We stayed for 18 nights and found the property ideal for our purposes - close enough to the village to walk into the shops, bars and restaurants, but having its own quiet spot with great sea views. Our daughter came to visit for a few days and also thought it ideal.The place is well equipped and recently redecorated and has a lovely garden with good views and good garden furniture. As well as easy access to the beaches there is a good swimming pool nearby - and everything about our stay seemed easy and enjoyable. We have been coming to la Croix for 20 years or so and this is as good a property as we have stayed in. Camille was very helpful, flexible and responsive and the neighbors were charming too, and helped out with a minor electrical problem after a storm. Further afield there are great restaurants in Gassin and a couple of good ones in Gigaro which are worth seeking out. We're bucket and spade people so the great beaches with their reasonably priced bars are ideal for us. I gather there are some wonderful walks nearby and certainly a large number of good estates where we by our wine direct from the producers. If you like Rose this place is heaven.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Gut ausgestattetes Haus, sehr sauber. Kurze Wege zu Geschäften und zum Markt(Sonntags). Eine Außenbeleuchtung auf der Terasse haben wir vermisst. Wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer. Alles sehr empfehlenswert.

Hübsche, aber in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft.

Die Wohneinheit liegt in einer bewachten Anlage , bewohnt von Eigentümern und Feriengästen . Für jeden PKW gibt es einen nummerierten Parkplatz der sich in der Nähe der Unterkunft befindet. Zum Ein -und Ausladen des Gepäckes kann man aber direkt vor den Hauseingang fahren. Von dort aus geht man ein paar Stufen nach unten und steht vor der Eingangstür. Dort angekommen steht man im Flur , von dem aus die beiden Schlafzimmer und das Bad (keine Toilette) mit der Dusche abgehen. Am Elternschlafzimmer befindet sich eine kleine Dachterrasse , von der man eine herrliche Aussicht bis zum Meer hat. Über eine Wendeltreppe gelangt man in das offene Wohnzimmer mit Essecke und einer sehr geräumigen Küche mit ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck und Gläsern etc. Im Untergeschoss befindet sich dann auch das WC mit Waschbecken und Spiegel. Die Terrasse ist gefliest und mit einer ,wenn auch unbequemen Geflecht Garnitur ausgestattet. Da sparen die Vermieter oft dran ,was ich sehr schade finde. Der kleine Garten ist mit zwei ebenfalls unbequemen Liegestühlen ausgestattet und einer wohl nie benutzten Hängematte ,jedenfalls war sie so verstaubt ,dass wir das annahmen. Schlüsselübergabe klappte wie verabredetet und es gibt zusätzlich eine Mappe mit Anweisungen ,aus der man weitere Informationen entnehmen kann. Internet funktionierte erst nicht ,aber Camille ,mit der wir über WhatsApp in Kontakt treten konnten ,half uns zügig .Alles in allem haben wir schöne Tage in unserer Unterkunft verbracht. Leider kümmert sich wohl niemand so wirklich um das Eigentum ,denn der allgemeine Zustand des eigentlich schönen Hauses lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ob es die durchgelegene Matratze im Elternschlafzimmer ist oder der wackelige WC Sitz ,abgebrochene Türklinken ,Lampen die nicht mehr funktionieren weil die Birnen kaputt sind und der eigentlich schöne Garten, der völlig verwildert und ungepflegt ist. Das ist die eigentliche Tragik an dem Ganzen. Wir haben das bereits Camille berichtet ,uns gegenüber schrieb sie, die Matratze sei erst letztes Jahr erneuert worden , aber diesen Eindruck machte sie nicht .Wir sind zwei schlanke Erwachsene und wenn beide in die Mitte beim Hineinlegen rutschen ,dann bezweifle ich das dann doch sehr. Leider konnten wir auch nicht mit unserem kleinen Hund an den Pool oder an den Strand in La Croix Valmer ,da in beiden Einrichtungen Hunde nicht erlaubt waren. Wir sind dann nach Ramatuelle gefahren , dort gibt es einige Strände die für Hunde erlaubt sind.

Agréable maison sur les hauteurs.

Camille est une bonne hôte avec qui la communication a été simple, elle a su se montrer flexible sur les horaires. La maison est bien située, tout près des commodités. On dispose d’un espace agréable et très bien équipé avec toujours cette vue exceptionnelle sur la mer. Nous reviendrons!

Kleines Haus mit sehr guter Lage

Morgens kurz zum Bäcker rüberlaufend und dabei einen Espresso an der Bar genießen? Hier kein Problem! Nach einem Strandtag den Abend auf der Terrasse genießen? Kein Problem, sofern man in den relevanten Monaten sich um Mückenschutz gekümmert hat. Das Haus ist ideal belegt mit zwei Personen, eine 4-er Belegung ist aber auch möglich.

Parfait !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, logement très confortable et fonctionnel avec un équipement complet, le jardin aspire à la détente. L'emplacement est idéal, tout proche du centre-ville, 5 min à pied, la piscine, idéalement située, est très agréable. A noter également l'excellente communication avec Camille qui a su répondre à toutes nos demandes. Nous reviendrons !

Kleines, gemütliches Haus

Das Haus ist zwar klein, aber gut ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, so dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Kleiner Nachteil ist die nahe gelegene , vielbefahrene Straße, die man bei einem Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse sehr gut hören kann.

Kleines gemütliches Ferienhaus, ruhig u. zentral gelegen.

Wir hatten mit diesem Häuschen unsere ideale Unterkunft gefunden. So zentral gelegen, dass wir unser leckeres Frühstücksbaguette morgens zu Fuß kaufen gehen konnten, andererseits so ruhig gelegen, dass wir mittags in dem netten kleinen Garten entspannen u. abends in Ruhe unser Gläschen Rose‘ auf der Terrasse genießen konnten. Der Ausblick, ob aus Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer oder Garten war ein Traum. In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto an einem wunderschönen Strand mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. In Camille u. Beatriz hatten wir jederzeit eine Ansprechpartnerin, die unsere Fragen und Anliegen sofort geklärt haben. Vielen Dank dafür :-) Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt u. kommen bestimmt gerne wieder. Bärbel K. Juli 2018

Second time around

Another very enjoyable stay in this attractive property - perfectly situated for a walk into town to pick up our breakfast croissants and within easy reach of a delightful small swimming pool, which, since we needed to supply grandparent duties for a couple of days, proved a Godsend. There is a nice garden which is a perfect place to sit and drink a glass of wine in the early evening - wonderfully detached from the dreadful political situation in the UK. There is a short drive to the excellent beaches or public transport is available. The range of good restaurants in nearby Gigaro and Cavalaire seems to be expanding and if you are a sports fan the bars in the village are very accommodating if an important match is on. A great time was had by all and we look forward to another stay.

Kleines, gemütliches Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir verbrachten einige Tage über Weihnachten in dem Haus und hatte alles was wir uns wünschten. Den ersten Kaffee konnten wir auch im Dezember noch auf der Terrasse trinken. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und es war alles super unkompliziert. Wir kamen sehr spät an und reisten auch sehr früh ab aber das war alles kein Problem. Gerne wieder!!

Très belle location pour une famille de 4 pers

Location très confortable et fonctionnelle à qq mètres du centre ville. Nous y avons passé 15j de vacances très agreables et reposantes. Les enfants étaient ravies car la maison est située à qq pas de la piscine. Nous avons apprécié la propreté et l'entretien de la maison. La cuisine est très bien équipée et aménagée. La plage est à moins de 4km, accessible par navette. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et nous reviendrons l'an prochain!

Peaceful Villa

The property was as describes, although be aware there is an almost spiral staircase between the upper level (with the bedrooms) and the lower level with the kitchen, lounge and toilet. Both terraces are secluded allowing private sun bathing and the views are stunning. the communal swimming pool is a 3 minute walk. there was plenty of hot water, the kitchen had all the required items. A little bit of extra TLC for the property would have been appreciated - we oiled the front door lock as it was so stiff it was almost unusable, the outside light did not work and we needed tools to replace it. The villa was 5 minutes walk from the village centre, excellent bakeries, and local shops and bars. The village market is on Sunday mornings. There was a good choice of restaurants, bars, music in the nearby town of cavalaire. A good location for peace and quiet and exploring the beaches.
