Great place to stay. The property is very well maintained and very clean. Great view of the ocean and just a block away from the beach. Only minor mention is wish it had a better air conditioner. Would definitely stay again.

Colony Beach Resort - NSB, FL. Wonderful beach retreat for 2. Access to host is only a text away and they respond within minutes, no matter the time of day. Would highly recommend to all.

How to improve the condo1) Unstick front door.2) Purchase new silverware 20 on Amazon 3) Add lamps to nightstands 40 Amazon 4) Install drop cord for bedside lamps using cord covers and attach to wall 25 Amazon.Use plug at air conditioner.5) Change battery in fan remote. 6) Paint walls a beachy color like a light lime green found in comforter and shower curtain to brighten the place up. Maybe pull out the coral in shower curtain and paint bathroom that color. 7) Paint all the trim.8) New artwork. Use a hotel liquidator for cheap art.9) Move handles on refrigerator to opposite side. Easy fix10) Paint mirror trim in hall a dark blue like in comforter. Just a few ideas to make the condo the best it can be.

Super location! One block to beach.

Location was everything! Older condo, but clean. Needs work. Update cutlery and linens. Front door stuck so it had to be shoved to get in every time. Only 1 reading lamp. I would definitely rent again, but bring my own linens and sharp knives.

I had booked for nine (9) nights but departed after four (4) nights because the AC was terrible. I happened to be at this residence during a hot & humid time (heat index above 100 degrees) and the AC unit was not putting out cold air. It was probably over 80 degrees in the residence even though I had the settings at required temperatures. The clean filter light was also on, though I looked at the filter and it did not seems dirty enough to cause the problem. I did not contact the host or the local management company because both should have know about the weak / faulty AC and an immediate fix seemed unlikely. The residence had broom swept floors but apparently not recently washed down as the souls of my feet got heavily dirty when walking around barefoot. The residence is also apparently not air tight as I had to contend with the little "noseeum" insects for the entirety of my shortened stay.

Hi Scott, We're sorry to hear about this and appreciate your feedback. We ask ALL of our guests to reach out if theres ever anything they are unhappy with during their stay. Had you reached out, we would have no problem sending an HVAC specialist out to improve your unit. The unit floors were mopped and swept the day of your arrival. For the no-seeums, these bugs are very common and will sneak in if the slider is left open for any extended period of time. We were not aware that of any of these concerns when you informed us you would be leaving, and we wish we could've had the chance to assist you. I am unsure why you did not contact us about the AC, and it had not been a problem for the previous guest who checked out the same day, and our inspector who was there before your arrival also did not notice any issue with the temperature. Please please please always reach out if something is not up to your standard, and we are happy to try and make things right :) - The New Smyrna Stays Team
