Take it easy at this unique getaway. We call it Ash Creek Cottage. The cottage is next to a seasonal creek in the middle of a pecan tree grove. Come to relax, enjoy the outdoors, watch for deer, birds, and other sights and sounds of the country. We are close to multiple wedding venues and wineries and about 30 minutes from Ft. Worth, Texas and 30 minutes from Weatherford, Texas. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we invite you to try our cozy cottage.

This was the perfect place for us to stay! We were here for just 2 days, had appointments with a healer nearby, and we absolutely loved this house and property! Karen went above and beyond to welcome and accommodate us, and helped make our stay an unforgettable experience. If/when I come back to the area, this is where I'll stay, for sure!

We had an amazing stay at the Ash Creek Cottage. It was super cute, super clean, and well stocked. Karen is the ideal host. She is very communicable and made sure we had everything we needed. A perfect VRBO experience. We would definitely be back if ever in the area again!

Absolutely loved our stay! Impeccably clean, stocked with everything you might need, beautifully furnished and decorated, peaceful, private, and communication from Karen was great. We're already talking about coming back with the kids next time.

Karen was very accommodating and answered texts very timely. The cottage was immaculate and looked like a picture in Southern Living magazine. We sat comfortably outside under the beautiful pecan trees in late July. We had an amazing time and would loved to have stayed longer. Thanks Karen!

What a lovely cottage secluded in the country of Texas! So peaceful and serene! The place was immaculate! So much thought and care was evident in every corner of the cottage and the decor was every inch Texan. We had such a great experience even driving up to the VRBO. Every day we saw the horses (even a new baby) and rabbits jumping back and forth across the driveway. Our host was super attentive and kind. The beds were perfect with a good selection of pillows and a coffee bar in the morning! We will be going back!

The cottage is so clean, welcoming, and beautiful. My family and I enjoyed our stay and had no complaints. Karen is super commutative and I highly recommend this cottage to anyone! I will definitely be renting again

We loved our stay here! It far exceeded our expectations in scenery and accommodations. We love sitting on the porch and looking at the property while we grilled steaks one afternoon. The host was very communicative on expectations and procedures, and was quick to check on us when severe weather arose. The space was clean and notes were left so that things were easy to understand. It stayed nice and clean and had everything we needed! I told my husband that I would absolutely go back and spend time relaxing there.

The cottage was well appointed with everything one might need while staying in this home-away-from-home. The grounds adjacent to the cottage was inviting and a perfect location to hang out and enjoy conversations. Karen, the host, was a pleasure to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. I would highly recommend staying in this cottage if in the area.

This was a best friends getaway weekend. It was perfect too hang out, have a great conversation, and it’s just a short drive to shop and eat out. Everything was perfect. The beds were so comfortable.

We greatly enjoyed our visit at Ash Cottage! It was a great place for our kids to run around outside and enjoyed climbing the tree. Karen was so helpful and thoughtful! We would love to come back for a visit again.

My family moved to this area in summer of 2022. We wanted to get away from the city and move to the country. We opened this cottage in November 2023. We live across the pasture from the property. We have chickens and raise hay. We love the peacefulness of the area.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We are 30 minutes away from Ft. Worth and 30 minutes away from Weatherford. We enjoy seeing the deer, birds, and wild animals. You will hear roosters crowing, cows mooing , and lots of crows!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The cottage was completely remodeled in 2023. It has a western theme. You will pass some trailers and RV's to get to our property, but once you arrive, it is very beautiful and secluded. We own 18 acres including our property and the cottage. The outdoor space has lots of trees, even a good climbing tree, a seasonal creek, and lots of areas to hang out outside and enjoy nature!
