Enjoy your stay at the Burnside Bungalow! Originally built and loved by the Burnside family since 1985, the home was sold and fully renovated in 2022. Beautifully decorated with design elements to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Conveniently located minutes from downtown, restaurants, shopping, & cafes. After a fun-filled day, craft meals in our fully stocked kitchen & relax in the spacious backyard with play structure! If working remote, fast Wi-Fi comes standard. Truly a gem!
The space
We are conveniently located in historic McKinney and the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy your vacation. The Master has a King bed and en-suite bathroom while the other full-bathroom serves the Queen bedroom and bedroom with 2 doubles. There is also a half bath and separate Laundry Room. The Backyard is private, fenced, and features a seating area and play structure.
Guest access
While staying here the entire house and yard will be your private oasis! We offer a Keyless touchpad entry and there is a parking space for 2 cars.

I had a wonderful time staying at this property with my two grandchildren, they also loved the spacious rooms and cleanliness as well. I would definitely stay here again. It was centrally located to accommodate all our needs. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

The Bungalow is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for our family. Three nice bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It is conveniently located. The host was pleasant and communicative.

Overall place was not bad but I believe was bumped up due World Cup. I maybe saved a few more dollars by waiting a day or two. I consider a deep clean especially in trash compartment and exterminate ( we found a visitor on during our stay). The aforementioned would not keep me from Booking again but it’s the small things that add up to make a difference.

We were in town for a dance competition. We had a great stay perfect for our family. Nice kitchen. House had enough room to move around. Justin/James were quick to respond with any questions we had. I would recommend this stay.

Overall impression is fair. House was in a very convenient location to downtown McKinney, but it needs some TLC because wear and tear on the rental is obvious. Rugs, ottoman and couch could all use some cleaning. The bathrooms were nicely renovated but need some slight repairs with tiles and faucets. We could not get the keurig to work but kitchen looked nice although we did not use it. We did not need the play area, but we did not think it was kept in good repair and seemed a little dangerous for children to use. Gazebo in the back was nice but yard could have used some landscaping. Bushes in front were fake. We were only here for a short time so house served its purpose, and management was very responsive and nice to us when we brought these items to their attention stating they would address repairs and needed cleaning for the next guests. IF they clean and repair I would rent here again as house is cute.

The house was nice, we had the space we had hoped for. It was a lot better for our family that we all had our own rooms and had a space to call home while on vacation.Overall, it was a really nice home to stay at. Kid friendly toys and games as well as a large pack n play and a really nice highchair and kid dishes. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils for cooking and baking. A couple minor things that the host addressed with us immediately such as some cleaning that may have been overlooked in a few areas, minor electrical issue that was easily fixed.

Family retreat

Had a wonderful time, the amenities for young children is top notch, including a play structure in the backyard. The kitchen is definitely the best stocked kitchen than any other rental I have experienced. Would definitely stay here again if back in McKinney

Beautiful and spacious

We really enjoyed our stay in McKinney. The home was beautifully decorated and spacious. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were sparkling clean. The backyard had everything you needed including a grill. The home was a two minute drive from historic McKinney. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location, quaint home

This home was perfect for my family while we visited family in McKinney. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything downtown. The house itself is decorated so beautifully. If I had any questions Justin responded very quickly and was super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay in McKinney

We stayed at this lovely home for my son’s tennis tournament in McKinney. One of the nicest vrbo homes we’ve ever stayed in- and we travel a lot! This home is completely updated with everything you need. Very clean and close to the cute downtown area of McKinney, grocery stores, restaurants etc. This home is wonderful!! We definitely would love to stay here again. Very responsive, friendly host as well.

Darling bungalow

Comfortable and stylish bungalow. Neighborhood needs improvement. Scary big dog (ferociously barking) across the street. Otherwise, very enjoyable. Thank you.

We were in town for my son's wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. There was plenty of room for 3 of us. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers were updated and nice. Kitchen with complimentary snacks was very nice. It is very convenient to the entertainment in the historic district. I accidentally left our clothes bags and the host was very helpful in aiding us to get them returned. The only improvement would be a covered area for the car. Parking with a large car can be a challenge, especially in rain. But I'm not sure anything could change because of the narrow drive. I would stay here again.
