Oriental Waterfront Cottage on Broad Creek!

Come enjoy our relaxing water front cottage on Broad Creek! We have a new private dock where you can tie up your boat and a boat ramp conveniently located right beside property. We have two Ascend 12T fishing kayaks that you may use during your stay. This is a great location only 5 miles to Oriental and just 30 miles to visit New Bern.

We have a 50 inch Roku TV in the living room and a 40 inch Roku TV in each bedroom you can login to your streaming service. Fiber Internet WiFi is available during your stay. Each of the two bedrooms have queen beds and a pull out couch is located in the living room. We also have an inflatable air mattress if you prefer. Our cottage sleeps 6.

Our neighbor does have a very friendly female dog named Juno with a pink collar that visits from time to time. She's very friendly but a little shy.

Plenty of room for a family of 5. The water view was great. Lots of fun on the water kayaking, fishing, and shrimping. We hope to come back again.

Loved this rental! Exactly as described in the listing. The dock is top notch and having the boat ramp right next to it was awesome. Neighbors are friendly and we did get to meet Juno! Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again!

5 stars! My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The property was waterfront and offered a beautiful, private, relaxing setting. We loved having kayaks available to use....it was such a great bonus! Everything was clean and comfortable and the space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some quality time together. The host was also wonderful with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. The dock and view set this place apart from many other places we’ve stayed. The stairs going upstairs and very steep and tight but the house has everything you need. Very clean, tidy and well decorated for a quiet secluded getaway. Owner was phenomenal on communication. Neighbors are very friendly.

Great Experience

The house is so cute and surprisingly well put together for a small place. The real star of the property is the dock though. Very modern and super sturdy with everything you need for docking your boat and fishing. There is even a community boat launch right next to the property. Would highly recommend for boaters and fishers. I'm keeping this property on my save list.

Awesome time

We had a awesome time at the riverhouse this past weekend. My son was able to do all that he loves to do for his birthday, which is fishing,crabbing, boat riding and enjoying the water!!! The riverhouse is very convenient with all your needs for a good time!!! Even had a wonderful time canoeing!!! Perfect spot!!!

Excellent place for Neuse River fishing!

We highly recommend this rental for fishing on or near the Neuse River. This place had everything we needed and it is vey relaxing - we enjoyed the lovely view of the creek and the peace and quiet. The dock was perfect for our bay boat. The property was easy to bring in the boat and trailer and no backing up required. There is a boat ramp right beside the property that we launched from. If you are lucky, the neighbor's dog Juno will greet you with a big smile that will make your day.

Wow!!! This place is amazing. This was our first time staying at this property but it was perfect for our annual fishing trip to Oriental. The property was better for us than advertised. It was a perfect size for the two of us, the house was very clean, the grounds were beautiful, boat slip was perfect for our boat and having the boat ramp at the end of the drive way to the house was outstanding. We were a little cautious since it was our first time using the ramp and not knowing if there was potential for the trailer to drop off the end of the ramp. Turns out we had nothing to worry about. We were able to launch and load our 19 foot bay boat with no problems at all. It was much better than going to a public boat ramp. The communication with Chris was outstanding. She responded in a timely manner, allowed us the opportunity to check in early, provided a list of her favorite restaurants in Oriental and places to shop for food. Overall this was the most pleasant experience we have had renting through VRBO as this was an extremely clean and well stocked property and working with Chris on renting, checking in and checking out was very easy. We had a great time, caught lots of fish and look forward to staying again. Thanks Chris, you were awesome!
