Welcome to our countryside home just 20 minutes to downtown madison, yet nestled on the countryside on our 9 acre property. Our 3 Bedroom 2 Bath house with a sleeping porch is perfect for friends and family groups that want to experience a tranquil natural environment, yet also be close enough to Madison to enjoy the city. You'll enjoy high end beds, linens and FREE WiFi (high speed).

1 hour to Milwaukee or Wisconsin Dells and 2 hours to Chicago. Located in Middleton (53562) with quick access to 12/18 (Beltline) and I-94. Built in the 80's this home is sunny and spacious. Large living room and dining room that featues a beautiful gas fireplaces Save money and eat healthy using the large kitchen with top of the line appliances.

Our family has owned the property for 30 years and have built orchards, wetlands, chickens, sauna, nature trails and fresh produce for you to enjoy. Email with any questions.

We loved this place! Lots of bunnies for the granddaughter, lots of garden vegetables from the owner, instant communication, easy checkin.

We enjoyed this property. The garden was amazing and plentiful- Joan was so kind to share the bounty with our family. The barn was so interesting. The grounds great to walk through.Joan was great - communication was wonderful. She was very accommodating Thank you.During the humid part of the month, we greatly appreciated the air conditioning!! We enjoyed watching the airplanes come in to land, (only during reasonable hours), a member of our family is a private pilot. We did not do much cooking during our time. Our dog appreciated that the house was all on one floor, since she is dealing with a knee issue and cannot do stairs. She was able to keep track of everyone. The home was spacious.Thanks so much!

The rental was the perfect size for our family and friends meet up - with 3 bedrooms and nice communal space - living room, 3 seasons room, and dining room. The view from the house is idyllic.The kitchen had enough pots, pans, baking dishes and dishes to enjoy a few meals in - we also used the grill - charcoal was provided. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well in spite of unusually high temps. We were close enough to Madison and the Dells to get some touring in. Joan was a kind and accommodating host.

The property was so clean. Beds were comfortable. Cute house with lots of space, but the star was the view in the background. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

This is our second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is stocked with everything you need and Joan is a terrific host. Our stay was during some bitter cold weather and she checked on us a couple of times to make sure we were warm and safe. The property is beautiful, even in the winter!

Best of Everything

The house was just perfect for our long weekend in the Madison area. The property is on the edge of the farms and still close to all the restaurants and things to do. Having a nice big yard to enjoy really made it for our dog as well. Such a relaxing getaway! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent house and host!

Joan was very attentive and communicated with me more than any other VRBO host. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Stay Close to Madison!

We had a peaceful stay at Joan's place. Her home was in a beautiful, quiet rural location yet close to downtown Madison and it's surrounding suburbs. The home was clean and had lots of space (we brought our dogs along too.) Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the yard was perfect for walking our dogs.

Enjoyed our stay

We traveled with our teen sons and dog for skiing and a basketball game. The location was convenient for all our plans. We all had plenty of space in this comfortable and clean home.

Second Stay

This was our second stay here and both stays have been excellent. Great location with being close to trails and all the activities on the west side of Madison.

Wonderful location

The hosts are very kind. It was a wonderful location as we came up to watch a hockey tournament in Middleton.
