It was a nice little property but not quite as advertised. “On the water” to me means on a river, lake, etc. This was on a small pond or drainage area. Unit was very small but very cute. Needed a little maintenance.

It is an absolute delight to find a comfy king size bed in a VRBO! This cozy place had everything we needed for a short stay. They have thought of everything! We found it very clean and the communication with the owner was excellent. The ac unit is loud but it didn't bother us. We would definitely stay here again when visiting NewBern.

Nice for a short trip!

I’ve been visiting Fairfield Harbor since I was a toddler, now totaling over 36 years! This trip was a quick one and the place was lovely for that purpose. It had everything I needed!

Enjoyable stay

The room was well maintained and clean. The Fairfield Harbour community is a few miles from New Bern and required a drive to restaurants and stores. The setting was great as the room overlooked a pond with plenty of wild life to watch. We enjoyed our stay and New Bern.

Great stay. The apartment was classy. All new appliances. First time I used a clothes washer/dryer combo - worked fine. My wife and I closed on our new home today about a mile away and on the water. We love it.

We stay in the studio and we liked it! Everything was brand new inside, except the broken balcony door and the noisy AC! Cute and cozy, we recommend! Is fair from New Bern, but the price was good, the communication with the property manager was fantastic, Alana even let us to have a late check out, everything was well organized! Thank you!
