Great location for privacy - easy checkin process - lots of notes inside to answer any question- screened in porch to view nightly sunsets - red street light are for the turtles - mini splits worked great

The house was right on the water. Great view. Had everything we needed, very nice, very private, and very clean. Had a great stay, and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to stay in St. Croix. Close to everything and perfect little beach to snorkel off of. House has everything you need for a beach vacation. Couldn't recommend more.

We love everything about this place, and the host! What a refreshing joy to have a host who communicates immediately, clearly, and with a helpful attitude. This was our first time on the island, and having a great host make sure that we did not feel lost. As for the property, it was a slice of Heaven on Earth. Clean, spacious, with the most magnificent location! Within walking distance of downtown, restaurants, and other beaches. But why would you need another beach when you have one of the most amazing beaches on the planet just outside of your back door! What's really wonderful is that the home had everything you could need not only if you were inside, but if you are outside in the yard barbecuing, or on the beach. I can't say enough good things about this vacation, the property, and the host.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. Nice quiet location, but close to lots of things to see and do. Having your own beachfront was awesome. We snorkeled every day right at the house, a day at the pier and a day at Buck Island. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

House was as pictured. Very clean the beds are comfortable, host was responsive and gave good instructions about arrival. Having the beach right outside is amazing! Lots of gear for the beach provided . We brought our own snorkels but there were at least four sets there as well as 4 beach towels and chairs also different size coolers and ice packs in the freezer. Rooms stayed cool with the air at night. Having morning coffee while walking on which feels like your private beach, collecting sea glass great way to start the day! Can’t wait to go back.

Best 2 Weeks in a Loooooong Time..!!

This place is a 5 Star all around property..!! The check in smooth the host Amazing and the views are Breathtaking..‼️ If you get a chance to stay BOOK IT NOW..‼️ Close to great eats and treats and always the sound of the Ocean to put you to sleep. We can’t wait to be back..‼️‼️❤️

Great place to stay. Property is very well managed, communication and service was excellent. We’ve stayed in this house three times now. We prefer the west side of the island and this house is a big reason why. Love having a door that opens directly onto the beach. Great snorkeling on the west side of the island and Fredericksted is more our speed than Christiansted. We will be back, most likely sooner rather than later.

Home away from home

Hard to locate in the dark, but when you start driving around, it’s easy. Driving on the left side was interesting but doable.The house was roomy for the four of us. Well equipped kitchen. Back screened porch was our haven for the week. The weather beach was fun too. Water was great.

Awesome Property

Could not have asked for a better host and house! This property was one of the best places we have experienced. This host thought of everything. There was a full coffee bar, all the beach equipment a person could want, and cold drinks in the fridge. There was no need to bring anything except a swimsuit for A most enjoyable beach vacation. We will definitely book this house again!! Thank you Sharifa for all you do!!

To say that the view from the villa is stunning is an understatement! This is a lovely unit is spacious enough for us (2 guests) to really spread out and enjoy the property as if we were home. The master bed is quite comfortable as well.This villa is close enough to town so that you can be there in minutes, but far away enough so you have your sense of privacy. We loved the fact that we could cook and enjoy our breakfast and coffee in our villa whilst taking in the view -- and then explore options for lunch & shopping either in town or Christensted (Sonya's or Crucian Gold for bracelets-- the ultimate souvenir!)With regard to restaurants in town, we highly recommend Louie & Nacho's for beachside lunching (great view), Flyers for unique evening dining & Alba's for authentic Puerto Rican & Caribbean cuisine (get the lobster!) If you're inclined to explore beyond the beach in your own backyard (chairs, tent, floats, snorkeling gear & cooler supplied), then a quick drive up to Rhythms on Rainbow beach (with chair/umbrella service for 40) just a minute North will not disappoint! We even found an enterprising individual that was willing to run drink and food service from the restaurant.As for the property management, I can't say enough about how much we appreciate Sharifa's accommodation of our queries and requests. Always responding within the hour, we were well taken care of.We highly recommend a stay here at this villa in St. Croix -- the West is the Best!

This beachfront home couldn’t be more perfect! The beach was pristine—we loved snorkeling just steps from the ‘back door’. The home is so clean, comfortable, & inviting. Sharifa provided all we needed. House rules/expectations were clearly stated—nothing out of the ordinary & not a heavy load on the morning of checkout. We loved the proximity (walking distance) to Rhythms Beach Bar & Grill & to the Prosperity Distillery. Prosperity is a fine establishment w/ exceptional hospitality. They invited us to hunt for chaney on the lovely property—we found many treasures. We ate out but also shopped at local markets to prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Reine’s Chicken Shack was well worth the drive—perfect meal after a few hours wandering the Botanical Gardens (great gift shop there). Frederiksted comes alive on cruise ship days so save your shopping if you want more shops to be open. So glad we spent the majority of our time on SX at this property b/c it made this trip so magical. We had snorkled the reef near Buck Island so we didn’t expect to see much on this beach…but we actually met 2 lobsters AND an octopus! They were hiding so our careful & patient observance paid off. Lots of beautiful fish too—all these creatures living within just yards of the beach! Lastly, wear pants/sleeves & bug spray if you’re spending much time on the beach at night. Thankfully the screened-in porch allows for dreamy (& relatively bug-free) oceanside evenings & mornings!

Amazing House and Beach

This VRBO had the best attention to detail for guests I have ever experienced and I have been to a lot and many at a much higher price point than this house. The owners of this house thought of everything. A beautiful yard with gorgeous landscaping as well as chairs, tables, BBQ. Then the beach was private and beautiful. The house was equipped with everything I needed for the beach, beach chairs, tables, umbrellas and a range of swimming toys and equipment. Make sure to snorkel right off the beach here! We saw turtles, pufferfish, sting rays, parrot fish, crabs... the list goes on, all right off this beach! Inside the house there are separate air conditioners for each bedroom, perfect, and ceiling fans in every room, even one in kitchen and one in living room! (which is an open floor plan). porch is completely screened in so you can sit out there and hear those waves crashing with NO BUGS!Plenty of towels, hotel like dispensers in showers, water tasted fine and I drank it the first day before someone in town told me they were recommending not drinking the water but I was fine. Also it is a cistern and filtered not the island water company. The mattresses were even great! We went at christmas time and the owners put up a beautiful christmas tree for us with island theme ornaments! and lights on the house! so cute I asked my teenage son, who complains about everything, what could have been better on the house and he could not think of one thing! Amazing!

We could not have asked for a better experience. Sharifa, the host, was very communicative and shared exactly what to expect. They even have an app with information about the house and the island. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed, including good quality pots and pans and cooking utensils, a drip coffee maker, a keurig, and an electronic tea kettle. You wake up and go to sleep to the sound of the waves just outside the house. The yard is beautifully landscaped, the screened porch is very comfortable with 2 outdoor sofas and a table and chairs. Inside, the living space has comfortable seating for everyone to spread out and relax and a big dining table to eat and chat. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need, including extra towels. After staying on the north side our last 2 visits, we enjoyed staying on the west end for the sunsets, being close to Rhythms and Cibone, access to the rain forest and excursions, and especially the ease of getting to the highway to quickly get to Christiansted. We snorkeled right from the beach at the house and saw lots of colorful fish and coral, and even an octopus- just be careful of the urchins. We absolutely love St Croix and will be back to Royal Sands Beach House.
