This was the first time to travel to this area. After a weekend getaway we have decided that this was an excellent area and a great cabin to stay in. it is located on the river with deck, grandkids and adults had a great time getting in the river and floating around. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Looking forward to another weekend getaway here. Thank you

This was hands down the most relaxing vacation we've had in a very long time! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful river views and the peaceful natural surroundings. It was exactly the getaway we needed. One thing that really stood out was the kitchen. We love to cook, and this was one of the best-equipped kitchens we've ever found in a vacation rental. It had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals while taking in the incredible scenery. During our stay, we enjoyed a little bit of everything: fishing, kayaking, simply sitting in the river and listening to the water cascade through the rocks, digging for diamonds, and even a day trip to Hot Springs. There was no shortage of ways to enjoy the area while still maintaining that peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. We also loved exploring Murfreesboro. The shops and eateries were great, but what made the biggest impression on us were the amazingly friendly people. The cabin was amazing and the host was equally exceptional. Honestly, we absolutely did not want to go home (LOL... April knows exactly what I mean!). This cabin and its surroundings provided the perfect escape from everyday life. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us. We definitely hope to return!

This is our 2nd year staying in this cabin for thanksgiving. We had a wonderful family gathering. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view. This cabin is highly recommended.we will be back next year.

I absolutely LOVED this location and host services! Adding holiday flair is always such a nice touch and this rental hit it out of the park! I already am planning my next adventure there.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Such a beautiful property right on the river. The home was beautiful, clean, and very well laid out. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay for the whole family.

We traveled with 12 people 1-65, one is a wheelchair user. We were not expecting a lovely ramp but there was. The kitchen had anything we needed to cook with. There were even toys for the toddler to entertain himself. It was a fabulous place to enjoy each other’s company.

Peaceful Stay

We loved staying at the cabin. Very nice and peaceful. This cabin has everything you need to stay there to be away from home. Loved hanging out on the deck near the river. We would stay again. Has a firepit outside near the grill area surrounded by chairs. Enjoyed hanging out there too. Lots of space and different areas to hang out at. The host April is wonderful and is very helpful!

Great Girl's Weekend

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was clean and well stocked. The decorations made the cabin very cozy and there was plenty of room for 3 adults. We enjoyed playing games on the back deck and just relaxing. We also went diamond mining at Diamond Crater National Park, which is very close, and even though we didn't find anything valuable, we really enjoyed the experience. This was a great vacation, and we would love to come back sometime.

Great weekend getaway

The cabin was adorable and the view was incredible. We enjoyed spending time on the split level deck and fishing and swimming in the river. It was quiet and peaceful, and even though there are "neighbor cabins" you felt very much "away from it all". We saw squirrels, rabbits, deer and some interesting insects. You can tell they have recently replaced a lot of deck boards so that area can be enjoyed. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the kitchen floor area could use a good mopping. We wore socks or slides inside because the floor was quite gritty. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals, but the cabinets and drawers lacked organization. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, but our friends that stayed in the second bedroom, left a night early due to the bed being uncomfortable. It was pretty hard and had a large dip on one side. The beds in the third bedroom were fine for children, but wouldn't offer much support for an adult (especially if you're extra fluffy like we are). All and all, we absolutely loved our stay and would consider staying again if the bedding could be upgraded with at least a nice mattress topper.

Thank you for the review. I’m so sorry about the floors and beds. I will pass this on to my cleaning people. My husband and I try to come stay once a month so we can make sure the house is being maintained properly. It’s hard to get there as often in the summer due to the back to back bookings. I am very surprised about the floor and very sorry. We mop, sweep and vacuum every time we are there and expect it to be mopped the same every time it is cleaned. The kitchen accessories and organizing is a huge pet peeve of mine. Because we try to have every utensils or appliance anyone would need it’s hard to make sure it all stays in its place. It’s the first thing I do every time I arrive-is organize the kitchen cabinets. Thank you for sharing the concerns about the middle bedroom. We haven’t really had any complaints about so we were unaware. We recently had someone ask where the mattress came from because they wanted to buy one like it. But, I will definitely look into making sure it’s more comfortable for everyone. As you can tell we have been replacing and doing upkeep on the wood deck and dock. We still plan to replace the upper level of the dock in August once bookings slow down. We will be there this coming weekend to stain the unfinished wood on the ramp and dock and to check on things. Thank you for your honest review it is very helpful in letting us know what is going on and what we need to work on. We would surely love to have you back one day so we can make up for this trip.
