We enjoyed staying in this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin-like property. It is extremely clean, modern and well designed for maximum comfort. The unit is directly on the lake and the many large windows are beautiful to look out onto the lake. The two fireplaces are quite special and allow you to enjoy both warmth and comfort. There are two jacuzzis in the unit. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare your own meals along with a large side by side refrigerator. We truly appreciated the quiet of the surroundings even though close to a central lodge complete with restaurant. Parking is close and easy. Overall we highly recommend staying here as it is truly a perfect spot to enjoy the lake, nature and each other’s company.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior! This property is located in a perfect location—between Duluth and Grand Marais.The bedrooms are comfortably furnished, the living area is spacious with a bookcase full of novels, puzzles and games for the family to play, and the large kitchen is generously equipped with all the necessary items to make your stay totally satisfying.The main lodge is just a few steps away, where we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant and then relaxed in front of the fire on the patio watching the water and the stars. I would rate our stay a perfect 10!

Great property with plenty of space for people to relax and enjoy themselves. Great view from the living room, bedrooms and deck. We brought lawn chairs (from home) to sit on the rocks by the lake and read. We have stayed at many properties on the North Shore and this was a great value for our family. Thanks for a great weekend.

What an amazing location. The view was perfect, easy access to the water because the Lodge is right next door. Comfortable, kitchen worked out great for our needs. We did have to do some grill cleaning but all the tools were there. One of us is shorter and there is a step stool for the tall bed upstairs - she loved it. Fireplaces were nice (we used the gas one only). Grateful for the electric chargers onsite. Wish those big ol jacuzzi tubs were not in the rooms because you had to climb through the downstairs one to get to the window, but I know some people like them. Overall would be happy to stay here again and work with this host again.

This rental is absolutely beautiful. The perfect blend of cozy log cabin and modern amenities, with Lake Superior shoreline right in your backyard. Check in was super easy and check out instructions were simple and manageable. Our kids loved using the pool at the main lodge and the front desk also gives out free S'mores kits. Just a couple of minutes to Gooseberry Falls, and we also drove just a short bit to Black Beach, Betty's Pies, and Two Harbors. Plenty to explore in this area!The beds were all very comfortable. The downstairs queen bedroom is the darkest; the upstairs queen bedroom doesn't have room darkening shades but it does have the best view of the water. The back bedroom upstairs was great for the kids with multiple sleeping options. Having a private washer/dryer made things easier for us as well.The place was generally clean; bedding, toilets, showers, vanities - all the important things - felt very clean. But it does seem like the place could use a good deep clean after what was likely a full summer. I spent most of my time on the lower level and there were a lot of cobwebs along the ceilings, bookcase, and several in the bathroom. The kitchen cabinets and dresser surfaces and drawers also are in need of a good wipe down. But again, the important parts were clean! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had the best week!! The property was exactly as described, the host was easy to work with and it’s very conveniently located along Hwy 61, making it very easy to get to all the area’s best attractions. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome place, right on Lake Superior. Photos don’t do this place justice. It was perfect for our two families exploring the north shore. Plus, even though it was rainy, we got to stay cozy next to the indoor fireplace.

What a beautiful location! The cabin was perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking view. Decorated with a great “up north” vibe. Our family of four had an abundance of space. We enjoyed the spa tubs and the sauna (located in the main lodge). The kitchen was well equipped for the cooking we did. The bath towels were luxuriously soft and fluffy. The beds were a little soft for our family, but we lean towards firm mattresses. We loved how this cabin broke up the drive from the Twin Cities to the entire North Shore. We had a great time exploring further north than we ever have. Thank you for a lovely stay!
