We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and roomy. It was perfectly located for our needs. The rooms were large and had great amenities. We would happily return next year!

Very nice property (nicer than my personal residence). Especially enjoyed the deck with Lake Superior view. Close to Gooseberry Falls. Check in process was very easy

Wonderful home very thoughtfully prepared for guests. The view was beautiful and the location perfect for exploring the beautiful North shore area.

This is such a lovely property! I stayed here for a girl's retreat and it was absolutely perfect. It is tucked away from the main road and there's not another house in sight. The views were just gorgeous and the house itself is on a lovely wooded lot, which was amazing with the fall colors. I loved waking up to the sunrise over the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had extras like spices and such. That was so nice, as we stayed in and cooked most of our meals. There was plenty of living space with comfortable places to lounge. The beds were comfortable (with the exception of the murphy bed in the office, which was very firm) and the linens were great. It was such a cozy place and great location within easy driving to so many sights. I can't recommend this property highly enough. This is a VRBO done right.

Great location

Family of four stayed here for a few nights while exploring the north shore. Location was great. Communication with host was excellent. Place is clean and comfortable.

Awesome place!

The house was lovely. So comfortable and warm. We had everything we needed. I especially loved the story of the man who lived there and the photo of him. Great location. Loved the two different living spaces as well! Thanks for sharing this place with us!

Two Harbors Hiking Trip

We had a full 8 for a birthday hiking weekend and felt like we had plenty of room. Feels like an actual home with love & care put into it. Great location that feels private but doesn't require an hour drive to get to the cool spots. Everything was well maintained, communication was great, no complaints!

Beautiful property both inside and out! Location was perfect for going to Duluth for the day or heading north for amazing hikes and views. Home was very clean and comfortable and suitable for me and my husband as well as our 3 kids (ages 6-11) and my in-laws. We felt like we had everything we needed for making meals (including evening s’mores which the kids loved!), playing games, just relaxing, or enjoying the outdoors in the big yard. We couldn’t get over the beautiful views of Lake Superior and the fall colors. Will definitely recommend this property to others!

We had a 5 night stay that was fantastic! The home is roomy and functional. We enjoyed the fire feature on the deck for sitting outside in the evenings. It put off a nice bit of heat and lovely ambiance for evening cocktail sipping. Having a view of Lake Superior and lovely wooded surroundings was awesome! The upstairs bathroom is very large. Mattresses were comfortable in every room. The main floor bathroom is just a half bath. It would have been nice to have a second shower, as we had 6 adults sharing the one bathroom with a shower.

Check in was quick and communication with Lisa was easy and effective. The beds were quite comfortable. My favorite part was her notebook about her home and the area. She recommends so many restaurants and things to do. We had a tremendous time visiting northern Minnesota and would stay there again.

Our stay was fantastic with very beautiful lake views. Check in process was very seamless and the host was very communicative with us through the whole stay. Very family friendly and a great place to stay while taking in the north shore!
