Casa del Sol in paradise!!

We were at Casa Del Sol for a week in June 2025. There were 13 of us and we were very comfortable in and out of the house. The pictures of the pool and house online don’t show the overall size and beauty of all that Casa Del Sol had to offer. We also took advantage of the recommendations our host had for tour guides and a chef for a couple dinners. Nina was great.

There were 13 of us and everyone had a great time. The house was better in person than in the pictures which is surprising as we thought the pictures were great. Every bedroom and bathroom was spacious,bright and clean. The pool area was beautifully laid out and so inviting it was hard to drag ourselves away. Weather it was dining inside or out, playing games, just relaxing by the pool or resting in the hammock there was no bad choices! The staff was super responsive and unobtrusive while going about taking care of the house and grounds. We also took advantage of Enrique and Nina to have wonderfully prepared dinners of regional food most nights. We had a fantastic time and would certainly come back again. The owner ,Katherine, was also very responsive and accommodating when booking and checking while we were there to make sure our stay was the best it could be and it was!

Roberto met us as we arrived. He gave us a tour of the house and how everything worked. We only used the TV for music, as all of our time was spent outside. The grounds and pool were breathtaking! The pool was cleaned everyday and someone even came and cleaned the house mid week. It is very family friendly! The walk into town was super easy! If you didn’t want to walk, there bikes you could ride. There were many great restaurants in town! The people in town were super friendly! I would recommend staying at Casa Del Sol! It wasn’t just me that lived the house and area. There were 7 adults and 6 children. I think they all agreed this was one if not our best family vacation’
