This is a super cozy cottage that grants easy access to not only North Cascades National Park but also to a number of cute small town in the area. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and modern. It provided my wife and I with a wonderful place to relax at the end of our days which were packed with exploring the surrounding areas

Beautifully decorated little "cabin". Had everything we needed for a short stay. We didn't have time to explore the city or go out to eat, but maybe next time. Thank you for providing this lovely space for travelers.

We stayed 4 nights to cram in as much hiking in the North Cascades as we could. This spot was very convenient since it's only a little over an hour away from SEA. The place was spotless and comfortable. Communication was great. The train is a bit loud, but I wear Ozlo sleep buds and wasn't bothered at all. Keep the showers short! And if you are coming here to hike, don't waste money on bottled water. The tap water here tastes great. It's a nice place to rest after a long day!

Hidden gem indeed. Lisa our host was great to communicate with and even lets us check in a bit early. The listing very accurate. It was perfect for what my husband and I needed. Location was great for day trips. A bit tricky getting on the main road at busier times and yes the train rumbles through pretty close but it didn’t bother us. If you had to bring ear plugs. Bed was comfortable, linens very nice, extra blankets. Kitchenette area was well stocked for two people. Bathroom a bit tight but everything worked great and shower was good. Overall the place was clean and comfortable would definitely stay again.Thank you Lisa!

Great little studio within 2 hours from North Cascades NP. Be aware of no long showers due to a small water heater. Felt safe and comfortable staying here. Easy check in and check out process.

Skagit Valley Gem

One of my old college friends got married in Mt. Vernon and this was a great spot to stay for a couple of nights! From the outside, we weren’t sure that we were in the correct place, but once we went inside we discovered that it was everything as advertised! Very cute and quaint little VRBO! (The train does take a little to get used to)

Well appointed and clean property. Easy access off freeway. Comfortable bed,quiet neighborhood. Has everything you need! Close to train tracks.

Nice Convenient Room

This nicely decorated and well appointed little apartment was perfect for me to stay while attending an art workshop in Mt. Vernon. The nearby train tracks were a bit noisy.

Comfy little spot

This rental was just what I needed. It was close to family in Sedro Woolley, in addition to being a great location for enjoying all this area of the PNW has to offer. The space is comfortable and had everything I needed to feel settled during my stay. Do bring some earplugs if you might be bothered by the occasional train noise.

Solid place for a single night

Location is convenient if you need to have a stay for the night in that area. Pretty view of valley. Train comes by about every 2 hours, so if you are a light sleeper, it can be a bit much. Hot water tank very small. Can take short one-person shower, no way you can take back to back showers. Did not enjoy the short shower time. Bed and rest of accommodations were solid. Would not want to spend multiple nights here, but was good for a single night.

Everything was exactly as described in their listing. Inside was beautiful & well decorated. Bed was amazing! Probably need to list 2 things in the listing. #1 Train tracks right next to property & it runs about every 2 to 3 hours. #2 Hot water last for about 2 showers if lucky. Otherwise, well done!

Convenient location, clean and neat

Very cute inside, new and clean, had everything we needed- beautiful country farmland all around, backed to railroad tracks, frontage road and 5 freeway, with earplugs at night it was fine. The heater heated the place very well, the 2 types of heating, was a bit confusing at first but we didn’t ask for better instructions, so probably our fault we didn’t ask properly host help…. Took til 3rd day to figure it out but We were mostly only there at night. Main thing was felt like not enough oxygen flow, especially when sleeping, had to open the window a little bit. It got too hot and stuffy even set to our normal lowest temperature. Had great block out light shades for night privacy, could definitely use some sheer type privacy curtains for during day so you can have natural light and see out a little and still have a little privacy in day. The water pressure was good , could use a bigger water heater as they did worn us about 10minute showers and it runs out. It’s fine if you don’t have very thick long hair like me.I just didn’t was my hair for 3 days, it’s fine because I had just washed it before we came and I wash my every 3 days, so it worked out ok! The bed was very comfortable, it was a great little place to comfortably bunk for a few nights with our busy days out and about, in a beautiful area with plenty of stores and anything you need within a 5 plus minute Drive.

This is a cute little place that was perfect for me while I was in the area for an event. It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. It is very close to the train tracks and the host stated that there is one train at 10pm. I think they meant the trains start at 10pm and run through the night. I love trains and I was fine, and you will be fine if trains don't bother you. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.
