Beautiful home situated in mother nature. The home was lovely. Communication was easy and quick. Service was great. Highly recommend.

Exceeds expectations!

Such a stunning and peaceful retreat. Attentive and friendly staff. The sunsets were breathtaking. So many birds! Words can’t fully describe the way we felt enveloped in quiet luxury and yet still immersed in the beauty and wonder of the reserve.

Heaven on Earth

Oh My - Dolce Far Nienta was truly fabulous !!! Every aspect of this property was 5 Star and was on par with the finest resorts that we’ve paid $1000.00 dollars per night. The way Janet designed and decorated the property to blend in with the natural beauty is amazing. Janet provided us with all the contacts needed for transportation, fishing, sightseeing, and restaurants. Truly A Vacation of a Lifetime and Heaven on Earth.

Relaxing Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. The local host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. She was also very familiar with the area including all the different activities available. The owners were accommodating and the communication was timely, clear, and detailed, which I was grateful for. The Grounds keeper was very friendly as well. I could tell that he was proud of the landscaping and kept the grounds around the property clean and wonderful. And the villa was amazing. It is away from any traffic and so peaceful and very quiet apart for the birds and howler monkeys.

Simply Amazing

This stunning contemporary villa is sitting on top of a mountain, overlooking the ocean and the jungle. The views are breathtaking. The interior design is perfect for 6 people. Everything was thought out carefully by these owners. The high quality of the finishes, the quality of mattresses, pillows, bedding...I can keep going. Its 1st class. My favorite part is the large infinity pool facing the ocean, the outdoor patio setting is stunning. Lastly, this host will provide enough information for things to do for a full month!! Cant wait for our next trip!

Well before the trip started, the owner and support staff did everything they could to ensure our trip was exactly what we were looking for and that all of our questions were answered. The welcome packet included numerous pages with information about the villa, area and things to do. If you have a later flight, or just don't want to do a lot of shopping prior to your arrival - definitely take advantage of the stock my fridge. Vero did an amazing job getting all the items on our list and stocking them in the fridge for us.Arrival to the house. Definitely use BlackCar service to get from the airport. It is a 2-1/2 hour drive without the greatest roads or signs, well worth the cost. However, note that if you do this your rental car options are limited. Nosara is extremely expensive for car rental (more than 3x the amount you would pay at the Liberia airport), so be aware. MUST RENT A 4X4, no exception the roads are rocky with large potholes.The location of the house is amazing, sits on 300 acre nature preserve, and is very secluded. The house was better than the pictures. The house was very clean, and large and well laid out. The pool area was amazing from morning coffee, afternoon dips in the pool or enjoying the beautiful sunsets every night, just breathtaking. There are restaurants anywhere from 10 minutes away (Ostianal) - only 3-4 choices, to numerous choices in Nosara 35 minutes away. Would highly recommend, top notch service and an amazing home!!!

10/10, Beautiful home, relaxing and peaceful stay!Our stay at Dolce Far Niente was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean and jungle views, the peaceful atmosphere, and the thoughtful design of the villa. The pictures are beautiful and they don't even do it justice. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.Janet was great to communicate with early on in the booking process— tons of recommendations for anything and everything to do and see in the area. Vero is the local host/concierge and is a national treasure. She took amazing care of us before and during our trip and gave us even more insight, ideas, and tips for our stay. We loved spending our mornings with coffee on the patio listening to the howler monkeys and birds, followed by afternoons in the gorgeous pool watching the sunset over the Pacific. Really enjoyed the town of Guiones and their beach as well! We'll definitely be back!
