Goose Rocks Beach is a three-mile long sandy beach protected from the ocean waves by Timber Island and the Goose Rocks barrier rocks. The protected shallow waters are perfect for young kids to wade, swim, kayak, or skimboard, when they’re not playing on the wide, exposed beach at low tide with tide pools to explore. Now is your opportunity to break into a limited Goose Rocks Beach rental market in this brand new eco-sensitive home we call "Salty Breeze," designed with your enjoyment in mind. Ideally located on a quiet, private unpaved road adjacent to the Goose Rocks Beach Community House, within a leisurely walk of the beach (6 min.), The Tides (10 min.) and The General Store (12 min.). Perfect for family biking on the quiet GRB roads, or for the more adventurous paths into Kennebunkport. Only a short 15 min. drive along the Maine coast to food, entertainment, and shopping in “The Port.”

Your vacation home is eco-sensitive in design, construction, and living. The design didn’t impact wetlands, minimizing site runoff and any impact on the existing vegetation. The reduced carbon footprint construction included insulation exceeding Code requirements, a state of the art geothermal heat/AC system, and an on-demand hot water system. When you visit, you can also contribute by participating in the Town recycling program.

Family gathering features include an oversized screen porch with formal and casual seating for 10 guests, directly off the first floor, plus a spacious open-concept as soon as you enter the house. Enjoy an early, quiet cup of coffee at the kitchen island then, when all the family is up, move breakfast out to the enclosed porch. After a summer day at the beach and a rinse in the outdoor shower, relax and unwind by listening to the surf and taking in the salty summer breeze. And, be sure to mix in some family games in the private backyard.

Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms and two full baths. The master features a queen bed, smart TV, and attached bath with a walk-in shower. For the kids, there’s a bunk room with two twin bunk beds, a smart TV, and bean bag chairs. Perfect for younger guests to hang out away from the adults. There are two additional bedrooms with queen beds.

There is complimentary wireless Internet throughout the house, but one bedroom functions as an office with hard wired, high speed Ethernet access for when you just can’t get away from work, or if yours is a “working” vacation.

Three smart televisions with ROKU operating systems are featured in the family room and two bedrooms.

When it’s time to head to the beach, just load the cooler, beach chairs, and towels into the beach wagon. Don’t forget your choice of provided beach toys, including ladder ball, cornhole, and spike ball.

A charcoal grill with propane start and Solo stove are supplied for outdoor enjoyment.

The home is equipped with a Ring system, designed for your safety and with your personal privacy in mind. This includes keyless entry doors and exterior video monitoring. There are no interior photo or video devices.
