With space to sleep up to 4 guests, it's the perfect size for a family or a few friends. Downtown Blue Ridge is less than a 10-minute drive from the cabin. McCaysville and Copperhill, TN, are just 20 minutes north.

Whip up breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, have a family movie/game night in front of the fireplace, eat outside on the back deck, and enjoy wooded views as you unwind. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and there are two twins beds in the loft.

At night, you can gather around the firepit to chat about the day's adventures. Or soak your sore muscles after a day of hiking in a bubbling hot tub. You'll also have a washer/dryer, a flat (gravel) parking area, and keyless entry - so you don't have to stop at an office for check-in and checkout.

A charming feature of the cabin is the built-in reading bench in the loft, set just beneath a window (pics coming soon). We've stocked a collection of books for you to enjoy during your stay, and you're welcome to join in our "take a book, leave a book" tradition - choose one to bring home with you, or leave a favorite behind for the next guest to discover.

This cabin features Starlink high-speed, low-latency broadband internet so you can stay connected and work remotely.

The second bedroom (loft) is accessible via a set of stairs. Adult supervision may be required for our younger friends as they ascend or descend the stairs to ensure safety.

Central A/C and Heating comfortably heats and cools the home. Additional wall heaters are available for particularly chilly winter nights.

The cabin is decorated for the winter season late-November through early January.

We have exterior security cameras facing both the front entrance and backyard towards the side of the home that includes the fire pit. These are used solely for property security and guest safety. No cameras are located inside the home or in any private spaces.

Do not leave firepit unattended or throw trash into the fire. Extinguish with water when you are done enjoying it.

We love offering the fire pit as part of your experience; however, guest safety comes first. Local regulations or weather conditions (such as drought or burn bans) may occasionally prohibit its use. These decisions are made by local authorities and are outside of our control, so availability cannot be guaranteed and does not qualify for refunds. We’ll always keep you informed of any restrictions so you can plan accordingly.

Candles are not permitted to be used inside the home. A citronella candle is provided on the back porch for use outside during your stay. Please extinguish it when you are done using it.

Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area but does have homes in the near vicinity that make up our small community. As part of this natural setting, you may notice spider webs, insects, or other small woodland critters around the property. While we do our best to keep the cabin clean and comfortable, it's impossible to fully keep nature out. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the charm and serenity of this rustic environment.

Initial supplies of amenities like toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Guests are responsible for replenishing these items as needed.

Prohibited Activities:
Discharging firearms
Lighting fireworks of any type
Setting uncontained fires
Any activities that threaten the health, safety, or welfare of others or our local residents.

**Mountain, Forested Utilities**

Our home is located in the North Georgia mountains region and occasional weather-related disruptions can occur.

Please note that power outages and brief internet interruptions may happen from time to time due to storms or utility issues in the area. The home does not have a generator, and restoration times are dependent on the local utility provider.

By booking, guests acknowledge and accept the possibility of such interruptions.

We do not offer refunds or discounts for circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to weather events, power outages, or utility disruptions. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for added peace of mind.

We will always communicate promptly and do our best to assist during any unexpected situations.

POINT OF CLARIFICATION: Despite what the VRBO Highlight suggests, you cannot walk to the Ococee River. It is very close, however, there is no public property between us and the river that would allow you to walk directly to the river. Tammen Park, one of the access points for the river, is just a short 5-minute drive from us.
