The custom built, Laurel Escape, is a luxury cabin that will give you all the privacy you need to leave the real world behind. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and the adjoining bathroom boasts a gorgeous tile shower.

Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with its stainless appliances and granite countertops and then retire to the screened porch to relax.

Outside you will find the hot tub, which is the perfect way to end your day.

Laurel Escape is centrally located to put you within 20 minutes of Blue Ridge, Georgia or Murphy, North Carolina, home of the new Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino. Within half an hour, you can be in Tennessee, visiting the beautiful Ocoee River. Come visit Laurel Escape…we promise…you won’t be disappointed! Nearby attractions include hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique Shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. All of our cabins include linens, dishes, pots, pans, towels, washcloths, etc... We will provide an initial supply of guest soaps, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and trash bags.

We couldnt have been happier with the location, halfway between Copper Basin and Blue Ridge (15-20 mins each way). The weekends weather (rain) didnt allow us to enjoy the outdoor amenities. A perfect site for a romantic weekend getaway for 2!!!

Very neat and clean, like a brand new cabin. Great Wi-Fi access. Seems like it’s 30 minutes or less to a lot of wonderful activities and other small towns. All appliances were spotless and in great working condition.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful time relaxation and rejuvenation at this 2 person cabin! The property is secluded, but is also close (15-20 minute drive) to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive, and check-in/check-out were simple. Would definitely stay here again!

Family time

This location was chosen for its proximity to grandchildren. We were able to have a memorable visit with them and then quiet time for my husband who is battling stage IV lung cancer.

Little piece of paradise

Our stay was very nice, we loved the seclusion and the overall look and feel of the property. The cabin wasn't big but it was just right with the porches and the outside patio area with the hot tub.

Amazing weekend getaway

This cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. We live about an hour and a half away and wanted a quick weekend getaway. It had everything we needed and was perfect. I would recommend to anyone.

Best getaway spot

This is our second time at the property. We love how it is just far enough off the map. My wife and I love our quick get aways to this property to reset our focus with one another. We said we would be back and we are sure we will continue to visit this little slice of heaven!
