House is in a great location with plenty of room. Well stocked but needs some updates/maintenance. Had some issues with the internet and having to reboot. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Family Gathering

We bring our 3 children and their families to Wrightsville Beach every year or two. This was a great house to congregate in, huge kitchen, lots of bedrooms plus a supply of beach toys. The grandkids really enjoyed having the dock for fishing, crabbing and swimming. This is second year to stay in this house and so far it’s our favorite,

All Under One Roof

Great location, beautiful sunset views from rooftop and of Wrightsville Beach. We had a great time surprising our daughter on her birthday with our family and friends. She loved that we were all able to stay under one roof. The rooms are spacious and the set up of the home is great. We truly had a wonderful extended weekend all together.

Amazing house

What a welcoming and special home with amazing views, amenities, and in a perfect location. We had a small problem with the tv but staff with the rental company were very quick to respond and helpful! I would definitely book this house again.

The place is beautiful and the location perfect right in the water. Amazing sunsets from the rooftop deck! So much room!

Lovely stay but place needs some attention.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location lovely. Very clean. Love the open design and large windows. Property needs some maintenance. Deck flooring uneven in places, cracked and splintery. Outside furniture covered in mildew. Game tables in basement damaged in places. Several cooktop burners just heat on high. Pans need updating especially non-stick which are worn and badly scratched. Broken bathroom door was very inconvenient .Bed in first floor bedroom has very uncomfortable mattress-had to go buy a mattress topper. Had multiple cars and was surprised to see owners car taking up the garage.

Regarding the garage, the listing and check-in information provided to guests does note that the owners keep a vehicle stored in the garage. We understand that garage space can be an important consideration for guests traveling with multiple vehicles, and we strive to provide that information in advance so guests can plan accordingly. The home was wonderful but, should not be advertised as a six-bedroom home. One of the bedrooms is a bonus room shared with the master bedroom. This layout would work fine with children. It was inconvenient to share with multiple adults.

Great house but needs new cook top.

Beautiful home with amazing views. House was very clean and well maintained. The only down side was the cook top that only had 2 burners working and the pans were terrible, every thing stuck to them. With a large family to cook for it was disappointing. A House this beautiful with such a huge kitchen should have a functioning cooktop and decent pots and pans

A Beautiful Home, Wonderful Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this lovely home for my nieces wedding. Five sets of aunts & uncles stayed for the weekend. Everyone was very happy with the accommodations. Great view. Very comfortable and spacious kitchen / living area for everyone to spend time together. The only downside is the bedroom with the twin beds shares a bathroom with the master bedroom. This room is really only suitable for children whose parents are in the master. We therefore did not utilize this bedroom at all, choosing instead to stay in our own home in Wilmington. Otherwise, a truly wonderful place to stay.

2nd Year at Aquarium

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is great for our family of 11. The location is walkable to the beach and to South End surf Shop/Sundays Coffee and the Oceanic Restaurant. Everything else is an inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride away. There is a beach that appears at low tide everyday right in your “back yard” which is great for little ones to swim in calm water or for an afternoon cocktail when you get back from the beach before showering for the evening. We had a couple of issues (leaking toilet, no HVAC) but the rental company came out immediately and took care of it, even on a Sunday. The home does need some maintenance (leaking hvac registers, slow shower drainage)and needs updating in areas (rugs,outside furniture, grill is old, broken wheel, dirty and had no propane in it- we left grill in better condition than the way we found it by cleaning and filling tank) For the amount of money this home costs to rent per week, these are minor updates that would make a world of difference and be of minimal cost to the owners.

Views amazing, lovely porches, well stocked kitchen, lots of towels. However...Ice maker was never fixed. We were brought ice on the second day. Door code didn't work so we had to hide a key the whole time. Bring pillow cases because only one per two pillows is provided. Wet bar sink clogged. Slow drain in upstairs shower. Mold in the main level shower. Don't waste points on bike rentals as there is little area to ride.

The Aquarium = Thanksgiving fun!

Reviewer Comments: My rather large family gathers every Thanksgiving in Wrightsville Beach and this year, renting the Aquarium, made us Thanksgiving Central. My immediate family of 14 stayed very comfortably with the large bedrooms and plentiful bathrooms. We all enjoyed the multiple, scenic decks on each level. The place was spacious enough to sit all 30 of us for several lunches and dinners over the week. It was clean, well-supplied with cookware, dishes, glasses as well as a wine cooler. For the size of the property we often commented that a second oven would be convenient and cooking on the stovetop range was tricky and might need replaced soon.We did have several questions regarding some appliances and the elevator where, I think, an information binder would have been extremely helpful. Communication with the property management was poor to fair as they did not return any phone calls and sent an answer by text message 4 hrs after my initial request. A service repairman also showed up unannounced on the second day of my stay.

Amazing Views

Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Master suite had an additional room attached with two twin beds. The views off the deck and the deck on top of the house are breathtaking.

Epic Soundside WB Home

The home is well maintained, beautifully decorated, in an excellent location and had everything we needed. Each room has a balcony and there are expansive panoramic views from a deck on top of the house. We loved to stay again.

Gorgeous views and great spot on the south end!

The views are breathtaking, especially on the very top "widows walk" that is huge. Some areas definitely need some freshening up, but pretty much all of the bathrooms have been updated and are beautiful! Most important thing for renters to know is that the "private" dock is actually a shared dock with the house next door. It was fine, but pretty misleading especially since it is in the title. Also there was no grill, which was a huge disappointment since we like to cook our fish and/or meat outside.
