Well Maintained and Comfortable

My family and I had a wonderful small reunion at the beach house. There was more than enough space and the double-double bunk beds were a very nice touch.

The pictures show a much bigger place. The pool toys were all blown out/torn and unusable There were black flies/drain flies ALL OVER inside the house-the walls, shower, ceiling, tv. Pool was dirty which is expected since it’s not covered but bottom was pretty dirty

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback — we genuinely appreciate it and are already in the process of replacing the pool toys. We always want our guests to feel comfortable reaching out during their stay, and had we known about any concerns we would have been right there to address them. We hope to welcome you back sometime!

Spacious, Comfortable Home for a Large Family Gathering

This home was a great fit for our multi-generational family vacation. The layout gave everyone enough room to spread out, and the common areas were ideal for meals, games, and downtime together. The house was clean and well-stocked with essentials like towels and kitchen basics. We appreciated how close it was to the beach, and the outdoor spaces were a bonus. Communication with the host was smooth.

Palm Paradise Daytona Beach Shores

The property is as advertised, communication with the host was excellent. There were a few small issues with bathroom door and shower in in-law suite, these were reported to the host. We all agreed that the beds were super comfy! I would book again.

My family stayed here for a week. We had 5 adults, 5 children and a dog. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bunk bed room was perfect for our kids to cut loose in. The pool was awesome after a long, sandy day on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook for and feed our family. The A/C was a trooper and met the demands of folks who are not used to the Florida heat. The beach is a short walk away from the property, but you can drive on the beach, so we typically did that. Grocery stores, shopping and great restaurants were all a short drive away. The only small criticism I have is that the kitchen is rather narrow, and it is the main thoroughfare to the pool area and the separate cottage. It bottle-necked easily and it was always crowded in there. Overall, we had a great time in the house!

Relaxing peaceful vacation.

I’ve booked with VRBO many times the communication from Karin was superb. The home is beautiful clean spacious enough for a group. The neighbors are very welcoming of out of towners especially a week after a hurricane. The backyard pool area is gorgeous it’s very private to relax and enjoy the sun we also travel with a small dog and never had to worry about him getting out. We will definitely book with Karin again thank you for a great time .

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the pool, we do our best to keep it comfortably heated, though during colder winter months—especially January—weather conditions can limit how warm it can be maintained. We always aim to be transparent and truly appreciate your feedback. We hope to welcome you back again, perhaps during warmer weather when the pool is especially enjoyable!

Great for College Spring Break!

My friends and I traveled down to Daytona for our college spring break and this property treated us well! Super nice that beach chairs were provided and plenty of other things that you might not have room to pack. Great area - super short walk to the beach. The one right there is pretty chill, but a quick Uber 15 minutes up the road to the main pier will get you where you want to be with all the other college spring breakers. Also, the house is a super quick 15 minute Uber to the main spring break bars (razzles, 509, coyote ugly, ocean deck, etc.) so you won't break the bank there. The house itself was exactly as pictured - it was a bit tight for 13 guys, but we knew that going into it. Only small complaint is that the dishwasher didn't really work with the dish pods provided - but we bought our own dish detergent and it ran just fine!
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 6 abr. 2025
Thanks for the awesome review! We’re so glad Palm Paradise was a great home base for your spring break — and that you made the most of the beach and nearby spots! We’ve also restocked the dishwasher with new dishpods, so everything should be good to go for future stays. You’re welcome back anytime!
