Our Adirondack dream home in Northern Lake George was lovingly rebuilt with lake life in mind. Designed with the intention of creating a space for family and friends to converge in a setting that immediately says "relax and enjoy". What was an unlivable property has become a home people return to over and over to enjoy the magic of Lake George and the pristine Adirondacks. Although our nights are typically cool, our home offer air conditioning in each room. Tv/Cable/wifi in bedrooms and living room.

This is a great property for all ages. The house is beautiful, comfortable and contains everything you need. The hosts are responsive and made a point to make sure we had everything we needed.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. Joann and Tony are truly very gracious hosts. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay in Hague

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was perfect for our family. The host was very gracious and the house was beautiful! We loved the outdoor patio and the beautiful yard. We had a wonderful stay!

New Family Getaway!

We couldn’t have had a better experience and our hosts rolled out the red carpet to make sure that our trip was memorable and happy! The house and yard are an oasis!

Over all, the location was clean and like the photos. The hosts were polite and very friendly. We were slightly put off that the property was shared with the owners in a camper and that wasn’t disclosed until 2 days before check in and past the cancelation. We were there for a a bachelor weekend which I’m sure scared the owners as they asked us to keep quiet and not make a mess, we had no international of “partying” so it was not a hard request but we chose a private location so we could have the privacy. We probably wouldn’t have booked it if we knew someone would be sharing the location. We spent most of the time sightseeing and golfing anyways so it did not end up being an issue but still put us off. Again, beautiful location. Just wish there were more transparency before hand.

Thank you for your comments. I feel compelled to correct several inaccuracies in this review. 1. Our listing clearly states "No Parties." At no point during the booking process did you disclose that this was a bachelor party. Had you done so, we would not have accepted the reservation. "Transparancy" is an interesting word you used. 2. Our property consists of over 3.5 wooded acres, and our campsite is located on the property but is NOT visible from the house. Guests routinely enjoy complete privacy. I would argue other vacation rentals have far less. We do not even "meet" many of our guests. 3. My husband never told your group to "keep quiet." What was said was that we have an elderly neighbor who may be able to hear you if gathered around the fire pit late at night, making noise. We simply asked for courtesy toward our neighbors, which is a reasonable request at any vacation rental. Again undisclosed "Bachelor Party". It is also worth noting that your guests arrived before you and informed us that the gathering was a bachelor party. We allowed them in our home, without you, despite having no legal obligation to do so.You never saw us or heard from us after my husband greeted YOU - the "renter" upon your late arrival. This property is our home, not an investment owned by a large corporation. We have worked extremely hard for everything we have built sharing our property with many wonderful guests over the years. Prior to this review, we have maintained a perfect score.

Stunning home!

We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Barn at Lord Howe Valley. This home is stunning and was the perfect homebase for our family. Every detail was pristine, and the hosts thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We were sad to leave! We highly recommend this property! Thank you, Tony and Joann, for making a special weekend extra special!

Spectacular

Joann and Tony were so wonderful to rent from. Joann was quick to respond to questions and left us setup for a successful stay. The house is even more beautiful in person than the pictures portrayed. The house was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in and we plan to be back!

The best in Lake George

We all agreed this is the best VRBO we've ever stayed at. The house is even more lovely than the photos and it has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The house was spotless, communication was easy, and the location was great. There are several beaches and hiking spots nearby. I can't imagine there is a nicer place to stay in the Lake George area. We'll definitely be back.

Pictures don’t do it justice

The property was beautiful and quiet. House was immaculate and filled with everything you could possibly need and more! We felt like we were home. Owners live on property but hidden away and didn’t bother us. Easily best place we’ve ever stayed. It made my sons 9th birthday so special.

Peaceful and relaxing escape!

We arrived to the home and feel in love with the property and home. We had the chance of meeting Joann & Tony and it was an absolute pleasure. You made us feel so comfortable and welcoming! Just Beautiful

My 9 year old son was in tears when he realized it was time to leave. The house was as described. The place was warm and welcoming. Even though we didnt meet Joann in person she was readily available when needed. We will definitely visit again

Enchanting!!

This property is even more beautiful than the photos can portray. The entrance is grand and welcoming. From our first step in the front door, the subtle, clean fresh smell of pine and juniper swirled around and met us in every space and in every corner. The house is immaculate, open, and cozy. The attention to detail is amazing. We loved seeing the mama bird in her nest each morning. If you are looking for comfort and relaxation in a beautiful setting with warm and welcoming hosts, this is your place. We loved every minute of our visit. Even our teenagers were happy, relaxed and raved about the beauty of the home and the grounds. I can’t wait to visit again.

This home was in a word exquisite like the description states! The interior is a true Adirondack experience but with all the luxuries of home, including high speed internet. It has a big open layout on the first floor, and the decorating was in true Adirondack fashion conveying a warmth throughout the home. The hosts, Joann and Tony, went way above expectations to make our stay one to remember. They are on our elite list of hosts that are completely focused on the comfort of their guests. The area in which the home is located is very quiet but still close to Lake George, Silver Bay, and Ticonderoga which has several stores including a Walmart and ACE Hardware for supplies.We highly recommend this property.
