Thank you for your review. Our private beach walkover is just a few steps from the beach through a nice plush green picnic area with tables and grills. We are saddened to hear you did not find the Front Desk Agents helpful. We are not a hotel and try to allow guests to enjoy their stay. Unfortunately, the hurricane had occurred just a few days prior to your stay, and we did experience some damage to our roof which caused a small leak in #1206. The balcony door handle is on order and sadly it did not arrive in time for your stay. We did offer you a discount for that inconvenience. We hope you will not let this one visit dampen your overall experience staying at the Galvestonian and you will visit and enjoy memories in #1206 again!
