Wonderful home and location. Beautiful Mountain views to wake up to . Clayton, Georgia offers a cute downtown with a variety of shops and close to many great places to hike. Host was very friendly and responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first trip to Clayton and it did not disappoint. This cabin was didn't feel like a vacation rental but a comfy home that made me not want to leave. The views were not the only thing that is magnificent; as the undeniable silence that was able to be experienced while sitting on the porch was unmatchable. This cabin is secluded but still a mere 9 minute drive to Main Street, which makes getting back and forth to activities a snap unlike most cabins we have stayed at, where you have to drive 20 minutes around tight mountainous roads to reach. The beds were very comfortable and the internet was occasionally spotty (but who cares with the massive supply of boardgames and outstanding views). I would suggest staying at this cabin to anyone! Also, try Fortify Pizza and Burger Bar while in town....GREAT FOOD!

Spectacular secluded home yet still close enough to town. The ambiance of being in the beautiful high atmosphere was so calming and peaceful. Having the porch off master suite to relax in the morning with coffee and embracing nature was serene. The view into the luscious green mountains and relaxing in the hot tub was such a treasure. Owner has provided an amazing place for nature enthusiasts. Great hiking trails and waterfalls within short travel distance was also wonderful. Great communication with Owner. Just a courtesy note, many times the internet was interrupted when streaming TV, no local cable so a little inconvenient when we were wanting regular prime stations. This was a personal preference as Sports playoffs were taking place. Fabulous area to visit and would definitely plan another booking again though!

We really enjoyed this cabin and the Clayton area during our approximately one week stay in late July. The cabin was great: clean, quiet, private, with plenty of amenities, a lovely mountain view, helpful host, and convenient to Clayton and area activities. We especially liked being near the Chattooga River (swimming, Section 2 kayaking), wineries, hiking (Glassy Mtn, Brasstown Falls), and generally just soaking in the peaceful environment.

My wife and I have just retired and live in Newnan, Ga. We enjoy spending time with our grown children, their spouses, and our 6 grandchildren. The mountains are a place we each enjoy visiting and getting recharged. We like to host so that others who enjoy the mountains can get away with their families and unplug if they like.

While at Eagles Nest, it feels as though you are far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, however, in 5 minutes, you can be in the middle of all of that. We wanted a place with no yard, a place for an outdoor fire, and a great view.

We are at an elevation that allows you to see the mountains, but not so high that you see the tops of buildings in town. The drive to higher elevations in our area can be very steep. The hot tub provides and ideal setting to relax at the end of a day hiking, rafting, fishing, or shopping in town.
