We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed being in a quiet secluded location, yet being 5 minutes from conveniences. The cabin is great for relaxing & game nights.

The cabin was exactly what it looked like in the pictures and somehow even nicer in person! We felt instantly at home. It has a historic feel and was fun to hang out in. We loved the outdoor space.

Quiet place to stay

Our stay was very nice. The home was spacious & clean. Mark was easy to get in touch with & responded promptly. The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood of nice, older homes. Would stay here, again.

Excellent

The property was everything described perfectly. Our family enjoyed the views, spacious living areas and quiet outdoors. The property is close to stores but the real beauty is in the backyard of the cabin, would definitely stay here again.

This was our first stay using VRBO. Check-in couldn’t have been any better. The home was in a quiet setting, back off the street. It worked well for our visit to Cleveland Clinic. The home was well stocked, clean, good WiFi and some wildlife viewing. It has a full bath connected to one bedroom and is walk through with a half bath next to it. The room layout is unique but very functional and there is a very nice attached sun room with lots of windows. We enjoyed our stay and will most likely use it again, if in the Cleveland area in the future. We think you’ll like it too.

We loved the cabin feel. Surrounded by beauty every morning. Mark was a great host making check-in in and checkout very easy. We did not need to use the basement. The bathroom downstairs is a little funky, but useable.

Disappointed – Not as Advertised, Especially the “Two Full Showers”We booked this house to attend a wedding. We stayed for a long weekend traveling from out of state and needed reliable access to two full showers to get ready for the wedding. The listing clearly stated there were two full showers, but that turned out to be misleading. One shower is in the basement and was not described at all in the listing. It felt neglected, outdated, and frankly creepy—complete with a weird urinal inside the shower. Gross!! that made the space even less appealing. We refused to use it.The house itself did not live up to the photos. It is clearly in need of updating throughout. What looked fresh and inviting online felt worn and dated in person, which added to the overall disappointment after traveling for a special event.If you’re looking for a place that matches the pictures and actually delivers two usable, properly described full bathrooms, this isn’t it. We would not book again.

Hi Barbara, thanks for the feedback. I am sorry that the property said there are two full bathrooms. There is only one full bath. Not sure why it said two, as we never set it as two fulls bath (we have been hosting here for 5 years). Unfortunately I think VRBO system changed it on its own. We have reached out to them and they fixed the error.

Home base

We came to Cleveland to drop our daughter off at school, this house was a great home base for us. The owner was very responsive. I wish the kitchen was a little more stocked, but overall this house a good home base as we explored the area.

Responsiveness was wonderful

There were some things wrong with the house and the host was prompt with his reply and sending someone out to fix the problem. This was a beautiful property with lots of space.I wish they had family games for people and a place to set your suitcases.

This property is absolutely amazing. Close enough to all of the major sites (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Baseball stadium, etc) that it is pretty easy to see the sights but tucked away and private if you need relaxation time. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife, including babies. The home is comfortable and worked perfectly for our family of 6 (4 teenage children) but would be comfortable for smaller groups as well.The hosts were wonderful with communication and checking if there was anything we needed. Check in and check out were easy.Fabulous experience!

Quiet city getaway with lots of space to spread out. Only one full shower/bath on main floor. Second shower is in the basement.

Country in the City

Amazing property!! You are less than 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland and all the attractions but you will feel like you are living in the country. It is partially a log home and has that country feel but is fully equipped with the modern necessities and ver comfortable furniture. The pics don’t lie!! Mark responded immediately to all my questions. The property is clean, has everything you need to make it a home. The kitchen is fully equipped and the host even provided the fixings for coffee and tea. There is a nice patio outside where we sat in the evening. The TV room is very very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the homes are upscale. The street is quiet and we never once felt uncomfortable about security in this area. 10 out of 10 stars.

My adult daughter and I stayed for 12 days before and after a medical procedure, as this looked like a quiet and pretty place for my daughter to recover for the week post-op while we were required to stay in town. It is a spacious and lovely, if somewhat dated, home, in a very pretty setting. There are many nice rooms and sitting areas indoors and outside. There are ample closets, but no dressers at all for clothes storage. We found this an odd (and inconvenient) choice, given that there is plenty of room for dressers in the bedrooms. Also, the upper oven in the kitchen did not work well, and the laundry is in the basement down a flight of stairs too steep for me to hazard. I do have a bad knee so this might not be an issue for others. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable. The dishwasher worked well, as did the heat. The setting is very green, private, and restful. The management company/host was responsive and helpful. If we returned to the area, we’d be happy to stay here again.
