Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay will visiting for a Hood River wedding. Quiet and plenty of bed space. Lovely decor!

This is a beautiful property with a gorgeous view. If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the city, this is exactly what you need. The big yard and lovely home are paired with amenities that rival a five-star hotel. The kitchen is stocked with every tool you could want, and having two sets of washers and dryers was a nice surprise. I could have been snowed in for weeks and not minded one bit.The hot tub and sauna were highlights for me. We also built plenty of fires in the fireplace, and there was more than enough firewood provided. One evening we grilled steaks on the propane grill, which was a perfect end to the day. Even our dog loved the place so much that he happily slept on his own instead of in the bedroom with us.Communication with the host was great. I had a question about how the sliding door worked (even though there was a video), and I got a quick, helpful answer. Everything was spotless.The only thing I would have wished for is a walking trail closer to the property, but honestly that’s on me for being too lazy to venture far from such a comfortable spot.I’m so happy with this stay and would book it again in a heartbeat.

Overall very satisfied with the listing! The house offered a very relaxed stay and was very accommodating/well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna amenities. Definitely recommend!

The perfect gorge getaway!

The house is perfect for unplugging from the busy world and immersing yourself in nature. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces create a very unique environment, conducive to relaxation and socialization. We can't wait to book this property again!

Lovely property!

The house was beautiful and could sleep 12. There are only two bathrooms so maybe something to keep in mind if your group is that large. The common areas were perfect for hanging out, cooking, hanging out by the fire and playing games. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend with friends

Beautiful & clean home that was great for a long weekend with friends. The jacuzzi worked well, but the sauna controls were in an awkward location & a little tricky to operate. The kitchen has quality appliances, dishes, pots & pans, and utensils. Bring your own foil & storage containers.

Beautiful house and location

The house and location was perfect for our family get-together. It really is as beautiful as the pictures show. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was large enough for our party of 7 adults with room for everyone. The lawn was perfect for the yard games that we brought. And we were a short drive to the restaurants in Stevenson and White Salmon. We also enjoyed an easy trip to the Fruit Loop in Hood River. We found several very close locations to put in our kayaks as well. Sarah, the owner was really communicative and made her self available. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.
