The property was like being home comfortably and roomy I love that we could walk down to the creek on the cut path. The creek was so relaxing I will rent this again when k go back to WI. Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described and the house was very clean upon arrival. Kendra was great with communicating all the details. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Perfect place to relax and sit around to enjoy good conversation. We came as we had a wedding in River Falls. This was a great spot as the rooms were comfortable, the hot tub was relaxing and the trails by the creek where so nice to walk by in the morning seeing the sun come up. Definitely will book this place again if I need to stay in the area.

We were visiting WI with extended family for a wedding. House was VERY well appointed. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was peaceful, and the country was lovely.The dogs were comfortable and we chose the location for a wedding. No fishing for us but there were some charming and fun towns a short (and pretty) drive away. Would definitely recommend!

Hidden Gem

Loved this property and the hot tub. It was nice to stay here with family for a wedding instead of a hotel. Only regret is we wish we stayed longer.

If you are looking for a quiet, serene location on a trout stream.. look no further. The property itself was beautiful. This property can be great if you are looking for slow and quiet stay but is also great for families with dogs. My children enjoyed the hot tub and our dogs enjoyed the freedom of not being leashed. The black out curtains kept our children sleeping longer then most days at home! They have all the basic to be able to stay right there at the house but it's also close enough to explore the nearby cities and parks. Our souls are renewed and refreshed! Already talking about making it an annual trip!If you are hesitating to book, don't!

Perfect Little Getaway

We just wanted a quiet, country getaway for the weekend and this cottage was a perfect fit. We really enjoyed exploring the property, the hot tub, and fire pit while having the convenience, cleanliness of a home. I highly recommend. We already are planning our next visit.

Cozy and peaceful

This cottage was the perfect place for my family to spend a few days away. The house has everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. We loved that everything was an easy drive to lots of different small towns. Plenty to enjoy at the cottage with the fire pit, hot tub, and beautiful property for fishing or just relaxing. We would make this our first pick if we stay in the area again!

What a wonderful place!

My friend and I stayed at the Trimbelle Cottage for 3 nights and had the most fabulous stay. The cottage was clean, had everything you could need and the fishing access was stellar. I caught a good sized brown trout and a beautiful brookie right off the property. Lovely country setting with lots to do within 15-30 minutes.

We just got back after spending 4 nights at Trimbelle Cottage, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect! Super clean and spacious house, comfy beds, a large and very well-equipped kitchen, a hot tub in a beautiful setting… I could go on and on. Kendra thought about every little detail to make guests comfortable. This is one of the best vacation homes we’ve ever rented. Communication with Kendra was easy and prompt. The property is gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time wading in the creek, enjoying the fresh water and the beautiful grounds. Ellsworth is about 10 minutes away and has everything you might need in terms of groceries. We also visited River Falls, Red Wing and other nearby towns. But honestly, we could’ve just as well stayed the entire time at the cottage. It’s so peaceful and restful and it gave us a chance to really connect and enjoy each other’s company.We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful and peaceful, well appointed

We originally planned on staying 2 nights but loved the change of pace from city living so much we ended up extending our stay. Surrounded by a chorus of bird songs all day, lush greenery, hardly any traffic on the road in front of the house, we felt the stress melting away. We loved the layout of the living space - well appointed and thoughtfully designed. The place had all the accoutrements we could have hoped for and we made use of the gas stove top, gas grill, record player with classic albums, shower with wonderful water pressure, nice hot tub, comfy bed and furniture, coffee maker...would definitely recommend.

The host was very responsive to our concerns about the roads as we arrived to the property after a spring blizzard, which really made us feel as ease. The host was also great at communicating expectations, and letting us know about a hot tub maintenance worker who would be entering the house (though it would have been appreciated if this work was performed without him accessing the main living spaces).We appreciated the quiet and remote location, and the upgraded materials in the house. The living room was a very comfortable, spacious area to relax all day, and the hot tub was easily accessed from the deck and in great condition. One consideration is the mattresses are rather hard, so if you use a pillow top or foam mattress at home it will be very different! There were a few house maintenance issues that I'll be sending to the host, and held us back from giving 5 stars, but I would definitely return again!
