Enjoy a 360 degree view, adventure and tranquillity in this peaceful 4000 sq ft, mountain vacation home. Situated on four acres, shaded by mature trees on a hill top, this home features a open concept kitchen and dining area with a huge living room, spacious bedrooms, a lower level game room and beautiful grounds.

In spring, summer and fall the deck is the perfect spot for barbecues, visiting and sunset views. Cozy up to a roaring fire in the upstairs living room when the weather turns chilly. Year round, the huge media room on the lower level beckons for football, movie nights and gamin

The enormous beamed great room on the main level is perfect for family and friends to gather surrounded by mountain and pasture views, lovely stone fireplace, flat screen TV, and dining table seating 12.

Guests will rest comfortably in 3 huge en-suite King Sized bedrooms, 1 Queen sized bedroom plus 1 Full sized sofabed in the private office. All top floor rooms open onto the spacious deck, ideal for enjoying the views, dining and social activities.

The very large lower level media room has a large flat screen TV with video gaming ports, Surround Sound Home Theatre and Blu-Ray DVD player. The room is complete with couches, an additional dining area surrounded with windows, and a separate entrance. Two bedrooms are located on the lower level (1 King bed / en-suite bath plus 1 Queen bed.) Washer/dryer is located on the lower level.

Excellent Location

Quiet secluded location. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. This spacious well-furnished home accommodated 3 couples very well. Very Nice game room. Great fireplace. Kitchen has more amenities than expected or encountered in our travels. Great porch with nice outside furniture. Nice fire pit area. Excellent communication and response from the property managers.

Very nice house and property - beautiful location!!

We LOVED staying here. So beautiful - pastures to view and nearby trails and waterfalls for hiking. Lots of room in the house with two living areas, 3 full bedrooms and one pull-out couch in a separate room, so 4 single ladies were well accommodated :-) Would definitely like to return!!

Comfortable home, fantastic property!

This home was even more impressive than advertised. We all agreed that the photos cannot do it justice! The setting is beautiful, so quiet, and with views of the mountains and nearby pastures, as promised. We stayed Christmas week when the temperatures dipped to below 0, but the house was warm, cozy, and spacious for the 6 of us (4 adults, 2 children, and a dog). The only minor shortcoming is that the house could use some detail dusting (e.g., closet louvers, baseboards) and would likely only be an issue if one is highly allergic; more importantly, the kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate. We brought everything we thought we would need with us, but still, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything - a wine opener, garlic press, good pot, pans, dishes, etc. We inadvertently left behind a couple of items and these were sent back to us quickly, for which we were immensely grateful. A perfect stay! I highly recommend this property.

Great place for families with small kids

We found this spacious house great for our needs with 5 small kids and a golden puppy. Beautiful surroundings and easy access to local hikes with gorgeous views - plenty of activities available indoor and outdoor + cozy fireplace for evening adults only relaxation 😉

Wonderful place to spend two months out of the summer heat. Home is very comfortable with a large deck for outside activities. Large yard for our hound dog to claim as her own. Walking trails are easy and very scenic. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy for the chef. Internet is adequate for streaming favorite shows. Short drive of 20 minutes to Clayton,, Ga and 15 minutes to Highalnds. Hope to return as this is the best of the mountains.

Beautifully property with a homey feel!

My family and I had an amazing time staying here as we prepared for a wedding in the Highland's area. Lots of room for kids to play. It feels like a home away from home. The owners and property managers are extremely responsive, accommodating and overall great people. I can't wait to come back here for another family, mountain getaway.

Beautiful Property

We love this property! It is very spacious inside and has a beautiful view of Winfield Farm. It is a short 12 min drive to Highlands and 18 min drive to Clayton. The owners and caretakers were very kind and available whenever we needed them. We will definitely rent again, if they will have us!

The Great Escape

This home was perfect for our two families - seven in total. The location is picturesque and only 15 minutes from Highlands. We enjoyed many nearby hikes and waterfalls. Our hosts and the property managers were gracious, friendly, and helpful. We felt more like we were staying at a friend’s place.

Excellent relaxing stay

We really enjoyed staying at the home, even though it was experiencing some unfortunate water damage in the basement. We were not affected much by that condition and were made aware in advance, and the owners were very accommodating. Its a great location, wonderful views, and very quiet.

Just pack you clothes

Because this house has everything you’ll need in the kitchens, bathrooms, and everywhere else. Very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The house is on a large lot, with beautiful flowers, trees, and large grassy expenses. At an altitude of 3850 feet the climate was wonderful even in July. We hope to rent this home again.

Huge home with beautiful viewd

Very large home In beautiful North Carolina mountains was great for my family and my sister's family to meet for vacation. My only issue was that the place was very dusty and needed a real good deep clean.

Christmas in the mountains was a fun family experience

We enjoyed fireside stories and hot drinks almost every night. On inclimate days, while the winds and rain moved through the area, we had quality time with the grandchildren; and on the clear and cold days, we were able to do some snow tubing and ice skating. The scenic drives through the mountains were like a tour through nature and the destination towns were fun and festively decorated for the season.

Lovely, spacious house!

The property was nice-spacious, well appointed, with plenty of room for our three families. It had several spaces for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen was huge and well stocked with equipment and staples. My only mild complaint was that it was slightly dusty, not as though someone didn't dust just that with the type of house it is I wouldn't recommend it to someone with allergies. We also killed about a dozen hornets inside, but the house is in the woods after all. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect accommodations for our large multi generational family!

Perfect accommodations for our large multi generational family! There may be lots of properties out there that have sufficient number of bedrooms for our family, but not too many that also have extra large and comfortable gathering rooms - living rooms and dining rooms. This property was located halfway between Dillard, Georgia and Highlands, North Carolina, so very convenient. Beautiful mountain views! Neighbors are not too close, so our kids and grandkids were able to run around freely without us worrying about them bothering anybody. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit a couple of nights, cooking hotdogs and S'mores, of course. We enjoyed the close proximity to the waterfalls and hiking trails, as well as driving into Franklin to let the kids experience gem mining. The caretakers were a delightful couple and very accommodating. The bar has been set higher now for next year's family vacation property!

A lovely, spacious home

I and many guests had a very good vacation in the house at Winfield Farm. The hosts provided a welcoming atmosphere and a well-stocked home. It's in a peaceful setting close to Highlands' many attractions, and the deck and comfortable rooms made it fun to stay home, too. The big yard, swing set, and playhouse are wonderful for children.

Wonderful for families!

The property and house were beautiful! Great place for families, my son did not want to leave. Plenty of room for everyone and there was so much provided for us. Crib that was set up on arrival, high chair, books, games, etc... Mickey ( the owner) and Marilyn ( caretaker) were both amazing and easily reachable before and during our stay. Both checked in to see if we needed anything and to see how we were getting along. The location was amazing; tubing, fishing and zip lining right down the road along with the cute towns of Clayton and Highlands. Loved the huge yard and privacy of the house. Played outside every afternoon. Even had smores in the fire pit. So lovely. Would love to return.

Relaxing mountain home

Wonderful home perfect for a large family. Bedrooms spread throughout the house with plenty of gathering space. Kitchen well equipped. Outdoor deck space was wonderful. Great views. Close to Highlands, Cashiers and lots of hiking trails. Enjoyed our time here.

Our property is an easy drive from Atlanta and Ashville. There is something for everyone of all ages to do! Outdoor enthusiasts love the great hiking trails, river rafting and fishing. There is also fantastic shopping and wonderful restaurants and breweries closeby.
