This property is amazing. Kim was amazing great communication as well as respected privacy. The road to this very private place is a little rough. But very very well worth it. I will be back in Abiliene for work and will attempt to stay here again. Amazing

We enjoyed our stay very much! Perfect peaceful getaway with a stunning view from the hot tub. Host was very nice and accommodating! Would definitely book again!

Quiet. Very scenic. Sunsets were incredible. Saw deer, wild hogs, cotton tails, jack rabbits and road runners. Had a roadrunner who kept wanting to come inside. Too cute. I wish I had the kitchen at my house. Gas stove and two ovens. It would be nice to have at least one more large skillet, but other than that cooking was easy. No ice maker, so pickup a bag, but there's plenty fridge and freezer space. It's a bit of a long drive on an old road with part of it dirt, but that makes it exceptional. Lots of wildlife on that road along with cattle. I would caution against driving a car with low clearance. Once you head up the hill to the secluded cabin there's one or two places where you might drag bottom. Maybe leave the corvette at home.

A beautiful little hilltop barndominium out in the country with amazing views (especially the sunsets). I will definitely be booking here again for all my future trips to Abilene.

Relaxing and Quiet

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a relaxing Valentine's weekend together, and we greatly enjoyed it. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. The place was very clean and the hot tub was a nice way to relax and unwind. The property manager was super nice and communicative. We would definitely stay again!

Property was great. Check in was great. Follow signs on Property for "the lodge" there are numerous driveways and roads. Place is on the top of the hill with spectacular views. Be prepared for rocky steep driveway and unpaved roads. Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the dark skies - we even brought our telescope. Definitely will come back

Off the beaten path

How perfect! Beautiful location about 20 min from Abilene which made this super peaceful and quiet. Surprisingly good internet. Gorgeous views to sit on the porch and just relax. Kitchen had all we needed. Spacious and confortable. Great way to spend Mother's day 2024 with two grown sons and one grandchild. We just hung out and enjoyed this getaway. For certain would stay again!
