Nice clean rooms with lots of beds to fit big groups. We held a small wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed!

Place was big and had beds for our large gathering. We had issues with lack of enough linen, no dish cloths, lack of enough wash cloths. Place was clean. Host was very helpful and took care of things quickly. Issue with one of the set of steps into the cabin. There were no hand rails. A ramp would have been great as I have a difficult time with steps. Thought there would be more green space. We all had a great time visiting with each other.

We hosted our wedding reception here and had the most perfect time! The host was absolutely amazing! He was very communicative and helped us out so much during our stay! The space is absolutely breath taking and so so cozy!

Beautiful

Very nice log cabin. Easy walk down to the swimming area. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the games and kid scooters for our crew. Kids loved the treehouse and fire pit area. Wonderful summer getaway.

Great place for a small retreat

Everything was in order for an intimate gathering of 11 farm representatives and some of their families. Aesthetically, the cabin was perfect, and its setting on the lake conducive to great conversations. Perhaps best for extended families; plenty of beds, but not all of us could get away to a private space. In the end though, it all worked, and communication with Chris was prompt. We had a great time together.

The property is beautiful. It’s very private and quiet. Very relaxing. We stayed for a wedding we had 16 adults and 5 children. Everyone had their space and the beds were very comfortable. Its didn’t seem like there was that many people there because there is so much space. The kids loved the tree house and swing set. The scooters were a hits also. The adults loved the game room and hot tub. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add another Tv. They argued over who was going to watch the game and gabby’s dollhouse. Lol. This is a wonderful place that I highly recommend. If I am ever in the area again, we will stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for our multi-generational family getaway. The cabin had everything (and more) that we needed. We had 3 toddlers and 4 other kids between the ages of 4-15. There were utensils, cups, and plates that made dinner a breeze plus high chairs and a kids eating area. Lots of games for adults and kiddos alike plus the outdoor play areas were a huge hit! You are in the woods, so there were a lot of spider webs, dirt and debris. We did also notice some stray hairs and minor dirtiness on the inside upon arrival. The property manager was very responsive and helpful when booking and after. We would definitely return.

Private and Peaceful

We take our employee on an annual trip and this place may be the one we visit more than once, there is so much to do in the area and this is a good central location to go explore. The host thought of most everything you would need, games, scooters, folding chairs, extra bedding, baby gates and everything you would need for toddlers. Almost everything you would need to feed a hungry crowd, the only suggestion I would make is a couple of extra large stock type pots. Neighbors near by but felt very quiet and secluded. Six days was not enough to do and see everything, and we would love to come back and explore more.

Summer camp

Good for large family that prefers nature as their entertainment. The house is large and sturdy - built like the Ponderosa. There's outdoor toys and a game room. It would appeal more to younger children rather than teens. If you have toddlers, they would require close supervision inside and out. The lake access is about 2 blocks from the house. The dock.is about a mile away. The home is older but well maintained. There is 1 TV on the lower level with spotty reception. The ice maker is not connected so you need to bring ice. Provide your own coffee. There were some spices and plenty of cooking utensils. There's seating for 10 at the table. Other seating is outdoors. One bedroom and ensuite bath on main level. Two private bedrooms on lower level along with a bunk room and bathroom and living area. Upper level has 4 beds but no walls and is open to below. Noise and light would be a factor for those sleepers. Small bath upstairs. The detached game room is large and contains an enclosed bedroom and bathroom. The house is situated close to the lake but on a steep hillside so there is no direct access to the lake from the back yard. There is a view of the lake through the trees. I was there in the fall and most of the leaves had fallen. In the summer the foilage may obscure your view. The house is on a large acreage. It's wooded and quiet.This place would appeal to families that don't mind sharing personal space and prefer interacting with nature. Compared to others, price was high.
