This is a LARGE one Bedroom plus loft, ski in and out ( there is a bit of a walk to the lift) condo at the Mountainside Complex at Sol Vista/Granby Ranch/Headwaters Golf Course.

The master bedroom contains a tv and a queen bed with a private bath. The loft area contains 2 double sized beds. There are also 2 queen sized pull out sofas for your use. There is a full, private bathroom attached to the loft area. The unit can sleep 6 - 8.

The full size private hot tub can be accessed through the master bedroom or through the living room. Also in the living room you will find a gas fireplace, queen pull-out sofa and TV.

There is a large log dining table with 6 chairs as well as 3 bar stools for overflow seating. Next to the fully stocked kitchen is the washer and dryer and small bathroom.

There is a common gas grill for your use as well as Wifi internet access.

Sol Vista /Granby Ranch,located along the Fraser River between Winter Park and historic Grand Lake village, is within a short 20-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Sulfur Springs, Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Areas, and three additional area golf courses (Pole Creek, Grand Elk, and Grand Lake). The region has vast mountain areas ready to explore with hiking, fishing, biking, kayaking, boating, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. Numerous visitor services are available in the quaint mountain town of Granby, only four miles away.

Great location and amenities

This property was as expected from the pictures. Great layout, in-unit hot tub, and ample seating. Good size kitchen with almost all you'd need. The unit is a bit dated, as the pictures show and general cleaning could have been a bit better, but did not feel uncomfortable, dirty, etc. Beds were clean, very comfortable. Location was great, and the family had lots of space to relax.

Beds and couch-too old

I am surprised there's 9/10 stars on this property... I literally couldn't sleep on any mattress in the house. I had to pull out the couch mattress and place on the floor because the couch too is original and so old, it tilts back on head making it hard to sleep. The hot tub was good, but the chemicals were so strong it burned my kids eyes. all the tv remotes kept not working even with new batteries. DVD player didn't work. Laundry door had to be slammed shut to work and destoryed a piece of clothing of ours. Property manager didn't know there was a k-cup coffee maker even tho i told them...

Great family lodging

For a pretty reasonable rate, we had plenty of space and easy access to ski Granby! There were a good amount of essentials included and the kitchen table is really cool. We enjoyed the magic fireplace as well. The hot tub didn't heat up while we were there, but someone did come out to try to fix it.

Great spring break week at Grandby ranch

Our family had a wonderful week at this ski in/out property. The hot tub was fun and there were plenty of towels and laundry facility for our 1 week stay. Will hopefully come again.

dirty and run down

It appeared the only service the unit had before we arrived was to leave towels and make the beds. The carpet was filthy, assorted trash on window ledges and the floor, a bottle of sex lotion by the hot tub. Multiple light bulbs were burnt out or missing. two broken lamps, one totally missing from a bedroom wall fixture. An under counter light was broken and laying on the range top. Neither TV worked. Wall paper peeling in several spots. Toilet paper holders broken. A window crank was broken off. The window and door casings beat up. Pry marks on the outside of the door from the deck. Generally just massively neglected. Beds are soft and bouncy. None of the outside community gas grills worked. On the bright side, the kitchen appliances worked.

The broader neighborhood this rental in is a really gorgeous part of an older development in the area. The furnishings and house in general are a little dated compared to some of what you expect in the area.

Good Location

Nice area, well organized, negative things, the hot tub wasn’t clean and we found sex lotion and toys, the cleaner came the second day of our stay to tell us that the hot tub wasn’t clean since the last guest so we were discussed and questioned the rest of beds sheets and bought new sheets from a nearby store. The community grill wasn’t working, and if you smoke you have to go all the way to a small room in the parking lot designated to smokers 😂

Outdated, tired and dirty

This property is located very convenient to all the chairlifts at Granby Ranch. We’ve stayed in several of these condos over the years since I was a little girl , all with the same floor plan, but this one is by far the most outdated and dirty one we have ever stayed in. This condo is in serious need of a deep clean and a bit of an update. There were several things that needed minor maintenance that were just being neglected .

Practically Perfect

Check-in was very easy, via electronic key. The directions / instructions we received prior to arrival covered pretty much everything. The place was well-cleaned and stocked with nearly everything we needed (if I wanted to be picky, I would wish for cooking spray/oil also). There's a full complement of dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. We only had to run to the store (which is < 2 miles away) once, and that was for some food & milk. Plenty of towels were provided! We enjoyed having 2 bathrooms so that my wife and I didn't need to share with the kids. And the HOT TUB was an excellent end to each day of skiing! The condo is close enough to Base Camp that you can walk, although it's not the most comfortable walk to make if you are in ski boots and carrying gear. There is also a lift a short distance in the other direction that takes you onto the mountain. We tried both, but actually ended up dropping off the kids + 1 adult each day at Base Camp instead of making them walk. The major appliances seemed newer, or at least in very good shape. The washer/dryer worked quite well, although they do have smaller capacity (don't expect to do tons of laundry, but we were still very pleased to have it!)

Property was perfect for our family! Skiing Granby was beautiful! Condo was very nice.

Condo was very nice and had everything we needed. Was perfect for our stay. The hot tub was super great! They only complaint was they need to remember to clean around the top edges of the hot tub and clean the sheets in the pullout beds. Overall great experience and we would return!

Convenient and comfortable

Family of four had a great ski weekend here. The condo is as-advertised and everything worked fine. Granby Ranch is a perfect ski resort for families with younger children just learning to ski.

Skiing is Always Fun

Overall, this was a nice unit. It has room where needed and is well furnished. The TV is poor. The hot tub is fine! The setup seemed lacking in things like basic condiments and the MBR hair drier was inoperable. The area is up in a hill area and was closed twice due to icing issues on the access road.

Great Location

The location of this property was awesome. We felt that it could have been cleaner and does need some updating. Also - no clear instructions for things. For Example we couldn't get the fireplace to work with the instructions we were given, there were 7 TV controllers on the coffee table with no instructions, etc. Just felt for the money we were charged some could be put back into it for a good cleaning and some updating.

Great location and Beautiful setting

The unit itself needed alot of repairs. I made a list a soon as we walked in so that I wouldnt be responsible for things already broken. If the unit had been kept up it would have be been fantastic.

Kat & Deb's Rocky Mountain Adventure

We are two Covid nurses who were finally able to meet up for our previously planned, and thwarted, Rocky Mountain 1/2 marathon trip. After the race we stayed at this wonderful condo. We were shocked to find a huge private jacuzzi tub off of the master bedroom which was perfect for warming ourselves after a hike in the rain and soothing our sore racing muscles. Everything was perfect with the exception that the information book is no longer up to date and our directions that were sent to us had a different address on it. Other than that, no complaints. Despite the fact that it is a big complex, it was quiet.

I am a veterinarian working with USDA in the Alabama area and my husband, also a veterinarian, works for a large university in the computer education field. My son Chris is an avid snowboarder and currently lives in Auburn Al.
