I LOVE dogs and hosting dog people. We are the pet friendliest place you'll ever find with no pet fees, no limit & no breed restrictions. Stay in our 1800's Victorian at the perfect downtown location in our quiet residential historic neighborhood and walk everywhere inc Ithaca Commons, Cornell and Ithaca College, festivals, State Theatre, Press Bay Alley, parks, waterfalls, Six Mile Creek, Hangar Theater, Kitchen Theater, Cass Park and Treman Marina, shopping, dining, coffee and bars. This is a super sunny, peaceful apt with original woodwork, hardwood floors, 10 ft ceilings, huge windows and amazingly comfortable mattresses and bedding. We've been hosting for years and are now live on VRBO. Come stay with us and see why we have so many repeat guests who won't stay anywhere else!

We LOVE hosting dogs. You will not find a pet friendlier place. If your dog is a barker who is going to disturb others please don't leave them alone.
Please do not leave the front door open for ANY reason. It sets off an alarm. I have a blind dog, and hell itself will break loose if he gets out.
Please be quiet in common areas during quiet hours (after 9pm) as to not disturb other guests.

Wonderful location

This house is centrally located and you can walk to almost anywhere downtown. The property is a little unusual, it’s not “polished” but it’s really a neat place, Sarah is wonderful and it was spotless. We’d stay there again

Cute and cozy

We had a one night stay as we were heading north from PA. Location was close to town, walking distance. Quiet little street. Very clean. Host was very welcoming and nice. Very dog friendly. I wish I could have brought my dog. Lots of antiques to enjoy. Would definitely recommend to friends traveling through.

No Kitchen/Kitchenette

The property is listed as having a kitchenette. That's not true. The main living area has a tiny microwave, very small mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, nothing else. No sink, no stove, no cabinets, and no supplies other than eating utensils. The only sink is a tiny bathroom sink. The bathroom sink and toilet are in what used to be a very small closet. the shower is in the bedroom, separated only by the shower curtain. There's also no TV. The property owner seems nice, but this property probably does not meet building code requirements and should not be listed on VRBO.

Our apartment was double booked and I found out at 9pm the night before!! Awful!

Eclectic two room studio

Had a great two night stay here while in Ithaca. It was very conveniently located about ten minutes from Press Bay Alley and The Commons and a great restaurant named Mix. Also close driving range of most area attractions. Parking was convenient. Safe feeling neighborhood. Host greeted us right when we got there and right when we left, but didn't bother us while there. Our dog became comfortable quite quickly, though was a little confused by hearing other dogs and neighbors as she's not used to that.
