The perfect getaway

Casa Colibri was the perfect setting for our group vacation to Quepos. The home, casitas, pool and grounds were pristine. Truly like being at our own private resort. The cleaning service was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The concierge team was so helpful helping us book and plan excursions for our group of 14. We were greeted by the concierge on arrival to go over all the ins and outs of the home and casitas making the check in process easy. We enjoyed afternoons at the pool watching the monkeys, McCaws and iguanas right in the yard. Couldn’t have picked a better home for our group. Highly recommend for any group wanting to visit Quepos.

Overall really enjoyed our stay. Location is great! Down the hill to the left your in Quepos. 5 minutes to the right and your in Manuel Antonio. Gate and fencing around the property made us feel secure. Pool area was the highlight! Have a peekaboo ocean view. Saw tons of wildlife right in the grounds. A few things could have been better - No bedding on the fold-out couch apon our late night arrival. Maxed out the guest count so a little annoying. We had termites infest one of the smaller cabins. My aunt woke up to termit droppings all over her bed and kitchenette. There were sugar ants in the house and that’s no big deal. Droppings and termites falling from the ceiling on your head while you sleep, too much to ignore. They moved the bed and cleaned it up but it kept falling. My aunt and uncle slept in the main house the rest of the trip making the sleeping arrangements cramped for everyone. No attempt to make this right. Utensils and things in the kitchen were pretty run down. Bbq barely worked. Ending on a high note - The housekeeper was absolutely amazing!! She kept the house spotless and went above and beyond to make us feel well taken care of. We spent most of our time at the pool watching the wildlife. Pool area is the star of the home. (Ignore the broken lounger chair) Overall had a great time!
