Place was spot on. Very clean and unique and very comfortable. Hope to go back when weather is cooler and enjoy the cozy seating area in front of fireplace.

Cozy place with lots of lovely touches! Be aware that the ladder up to the lofted bedroom is pretty steep -- fun but a little scary if you're not so steady on your feet. AC was perfect for a weekend of weird weather.

This cottage is a gem! I wanted a quiet getaway and this was perfect. Beautifully decorated and all the comforts I needed while maintaining the rustic charm. I highly recommend this cottage!

The house was interesting. My wife and I are over 70 so we did not use the bed in the loft.

Hello David, and yes, I can understand not using the bedroom in the loft. As stated in our listing, we have a loft bedroom with a ladder and we provide plenty of photos. We provide a trundle bed on the main level for convenience.

Such a unique and charming place to stay! Decor was perfect and the coffee bar very much appreciated. I saw all the reviews of 10 and never really read too many details so the large bed being in the loft caught me off guard but that's on me. It was perfectly appointed with lots of personal touches. Super comfy sofa and the perfect sitting area to read.

LAKE CHARM INDEED! The moment you step in you feel embraced. The stone walls share such a. Rutile aesthis with the rustic design. Every inch has been thoughtfully curated. The main bed is in a private loft that is reminiscent of an attic in a children’s fable and would probably be the coveted spot for hide and seek. The second bed reveals a surprise trundle. Most extremely comfortable - in fact, for the first time since having children I slept past 9am! The bathroom has a charming claw tub where you feel transported to an English countryside. The kitchen has an ample coffee station and a microwave. There is no sink or oven which was prob mentioned in the description but didn’t affect our stay at all. Overall a perfect stay. My only regret is that we had it for only one night since its parent weekend and we had chosen a hotel closer to the campus for Friday. And couldnt find one for Saturday. Turns out, it was kismet. Loved every minute.

We are Danny and Whitney Zebec. We moved to Port Deposit about a year ago. We were looking for nature & acreage. We are a blended family, and we have five children total. Our oldest is 31 and our youngest is 8. We have two grand babies on the way. We have an English bulldog; her name is Yeti. You will see her when you come to stay. The River Cottage is on the property, and it offers a lovely view with plenty of peace and serenity and nature. We hope you will enjoy your stay, and we look forward to hosting you.
