Originally from California and Pennsylvania, we (Jill & Mike) are good friends that dragged our spouses into buying an Aframe that needed a full remodel to create our dream vacation home!
We are excited to share our families home with you when we aren’t there enjoying it ourselves! We make the trek from Florida as often as we can!

The Aframe shape was what drew us to The Haven first, along with it being so close to Highlands, NC, our favorite little Hallmark town!! 🏘️
Mike and I have done several renovation projects together and this one was a huge adventure! After buying the Haven we realized how much we love the little mountain community, sweet neighbors, seasonal changes, and even the paved road! 🏔️
One of our favorite things that brings our blood pressure straight down, though, is the ringing of the church bells we can hear drifting up from down in Sky Valley. There’s nothing like hearing those while sipping coffee in a rocking chair or while around a cozy campfire. 🔥

We love that our 1970’s Aframe is ALL new, yet we were able to merge modernity with retro and cabin details from the antique brass touches to the board and batten and antler chandelier.
