The Pinecone Cottage is located in East Glacier Park within walking distance to Glacier Park Lodge, art galleries, restaurants and gift shops....a stone's throw from the 9th hole on the golf course and a ten minute drive to Two Medicine Lake, the east entrance to Glacier National Park.
This newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage offers a private backyard with awesome views. Relax after hiking or traveling with a soak in the cast iron clawfoot bathtub or take a long shower in the large shower.
French doors open out from living room to backyard for your relaxing enjoyment. Cook your dinner while you soak in the mountain view. Enjoy your morning beverage in the mountain air.
Iron beds and furnishings provide a rustic modern setting.
While you are here you can enjoy hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, boat rides, evening ranger programs, nature hikes, fireside chats at the Lodge and many scenic roads like the Going to the Sun Road. Please check with the Glacier National Park website to see when roads are open and if which ones need permits. Welcome!

The Pine Cone Cottage was very clean, had a nice large bathroom and comfortable beds. It has a lot of furniture for a small house and gave our group of two couples a nice place to stay on the east side of Glacier.

This was a great place to stay in East Glacier. It’s a very short walking distance to everything in town and short drive to the Going to the Sun road, Two Medicine area and Many Glaciers area of the Glacier National Park. It was perfect for our family of 4.

Our host was so nice and responsive during our stay. She even accommodated a last minute request to our reservation which we really appreciated. House is walking distance to the east glacier lodge and a hop to St Mary’s lake entrance. Would definitely return.

The VRBO Owner was extremely helpful. I had a few questions before we arrived and she in a timely manner answered them. For example: a grocery store in the area and also restaurants in the area. She met us at the property and showed us how to work the heating system and the confection stove. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary pots, dishes, soap, and even kitchen towels. The cottage was very clean and the bathroom had a wealth of towels. The claw foot tub was awesome and plenty of hot water (very quick to heat up). It was like living at home. It was a awesome vacation.

Wonderful stay in East Glacier

Colleen is an excellent host. The house is spotless. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is great for exploring the east side of the park. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family home!

Colleen was wonderful and prompt!! Everything was clean, the kitchen had a lot to offer & the tub was a bonus after a long hike! Close to the park! We would stay here again.

Pinecone Cottage

Pinecone cottage was everything we expected and more! The home has everything you could need and is great for relaxing after a day in the park. It has a huge kitchen and a great living room. Colleen is very responsive and a great host!

We saw a bear!

This little cottage is so cute! And the location to the park is great. On our very first night we had a black bear in the backyard!! There’s a cute place to grab ice cream and coffee and a pizza food truck with great pizza around the corner.

Perfect location!

The Pinecone Cottage is a great stay in East Glacier. Colleen has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance you could ever want. Walking distance to Brownies, pizza and more! Highly recommend going to Brownies for sandwiches and breakfast and the pizza trailer across the street is delicious! Beds are very comfortable and internet is FAST!

Great home base for Glacier

Nearer to the Two Medicine entrance to Glacier, on the East side, this home was a good place to overnight between days of hiking on the East Glacier side. House was clean, well equipped and worked well for our group of 3. The coffee maker was new; filters provided. Plenty of towels and blankets. Nice electric fireplace in living area.

Review

Nice and clean. Cute and quaint. Enjoyable yard to walk in. Comfortable. Plenty of room for four. This was my first VRBO and overall the experience was excellent. There was only one complaint: Maybe all VRBOs are like this, but the "total price" was not the total price. There was an insurance requirement before the final reservation could be made.

Pinecone Cottage offers a great location for accessing the Two Medicine Lake area, a less busy portion of Glacier, while still putting the most popular areas of the park, Lake McDonald, Many Glacier and Going to the Sun Road, within easy reach. The Two Medicine Lakes trails are absolutely beautiful and Scenic Point trail, also in Two Medicine, offered a rewarding challenge. We also had less than a two hour drive to Waterton Lakes Park in Canada which is fantastic as well.As for the cottage, it is the perfect home away from home, with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bath, comfortable eating area and living room. There are views from every room, plus a lovely seating and dining area outside with views of the mountains. Colleen has ensured that everything you could want is here.Bonus - Parking is just outside the door for easy loading and unloading.

Pinecove Cottage was fantastic!

This cottage was perfect for our family for our trip to Glacier! The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our girls loved the claw foot bathtub and Colleen even had bath salts to help ease the aches and pains from hiking. The internet worked great (Starlink) and was fast enough for streaming a movie while we also had iPads going. There were bunnies and birds to check out in the backyard no fans and heaters inside to keep us comfortable when we were there. It was centrally located to the best Glacier hikes and the pizza truck down the street was great for dinner. We already plan on coming back again next summer. So glad Colleen chose to share this house with us!

The Pine Cone cottage is the perfect retreat in East Glacier. My son and I spent four nights while we hiked in the park. We felt it was the perfect location and easy to get to from anywhere. Colleen was fabulous with communication, made sure we were comfortable and answered any questions. Cottage has everything you can need and a gem of a backyard. Beds are so amazing, decor is adorable . We had a great time.

I have been managing another property, The Candy Kitchen, for 35 years, 13 of which have been on VRBO so please check out its reviews if you want to know more about my management skills. I really enjoy meeting the guests and hearing about them and what their plans are for their vacation and helping them in anyway I can.

The cottage sits on a large lot in the woods and when you sit outside enjoying the view...you will be able to hear all the birds and smell the pines. We do get the occasional wildlife wandering through. The cottage is just down the street from the #9 hole of the Glacier Park Lodge golf course.
