After the experience of a property manager vs owner operated, we (the owners) are managing this property again. Nobody cares for a home like its owners.
The house is remodeled and conveniently located on the east side of Glacier National Park where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. Along with spectacular views, we benefit from fewer people and more wildlife. Head out to explore the majestic beauty and wild nature of the east side of the park while keeping your eye out for bear, moose and other wildlife on your short trip to Two Medicine Valley, Cut Bank Creek, St. Mary, Many Glacier or Waterton International Peace Park.

A true VRBO, we offer the whole house and yard for your private enjoyment. Located just minutes from the Two Medicine Valley - one of the gems of the park with no access reservation necessary, plenty of hiking, spectacular views and boat tours operated by Glacier National Park.

This house has been transformed inside and out with interior remodeling, new furniture and landscape upgrades to improve our guest experience. The living room boasts a panoramic Mountain View window for lots of natural light. There is plenty of seating, strong WIFI, one of the few houses with Air Conditioning and has a 56 inch swivel mounted smart television for stream viewing in living room or kitchen.

The bathroom is freshly remodeled to include a full shower/tub and on-demand (endless) hot water for everyone to enjoy after a long day on the trails. A WASHER/DRYER is also available to help you keep up on vacation laundry.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom provides a queen bed and a twin bunk. The kitchen is fully stocked with the utensils needed to create fantastic meals while the bar-b-que can be used for continued outdoor enjoyment of the Rocky Mountain Front.

We, the owners, have returned to full time management of this property. We are looking forward to assuring your stay is easy, comfortable and memorable. This comfortable house has manicured grounds, flower gardens and large lawn with a wraparound yard, bar-b-que and picnic table, a secluded and shaded aspen grove and view of the Rocky Mountain Front. Bordered by privacy fencing, it is beautiful, spacious, private and the perfect location for visiting all of Glacier National Park.

Great visit!

Everything was great. Check in/ check out was super easy. Wendy was very responsive when we had questions. We appreciated the maps immensely. Well supplied, laundry worked out great! Would stay here again.

This place was perfect for our short visit to the east side of Glacier National Park. It is walkable to a couple neighborhood restaurants and a short drive to the park. You will definitely enjoy your stay!

Super clean, adorable cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The cabin was super clean, cozy and fit our family of 5 perfectly! Super close to Two Medicine entrance, and easy to drive to St Mary and Many Glacier! Definitely would recommend staying here.

Disappointing

I was really disappointed when I pulled up and saw that the yard had clearly not been attended to for some time. The grass was very long. The listing boasts a yard but when the grass isn’t even cut it doesn’t make it very inviting to use. It was very surprising to me that something so simple to make the place look better was not done. The house is very dated!! I can deal with that providing it is clean and it was for the most part other than it could have used a good dusting. The location was good with restaurants in walking distance but the neighborhood is sketchy to say the least. On a positive the hostess was prompt and helpful in replying to questions.

Great time in Glacier National Park

Property was as advertised and a great place to relax after long days in GNP. Working internet and cable television is a real plus in a more rural area like East Glacier. We would stay again without question.

East side

We wanted to explore the East side and really enjoyed the amazingly beautiful drive to St. Mary’s and Many Glacier. Sunrise at Two Medicine was great too. The property is rustic. The AC was in the living room window; we didn’t use it at night because it was not hot at night and it wouldn’t have helped in the bedrooms.

Launch point for East side of Glacier National Park

This is our second stay and we’ll be back. Simple and functional, this home is situated perfectly to venture into Two Medicine, walk to restaurants, or take a short walk to East Glacier Lodge for dining and golf.

Great location but pretty dirty

The location of the house is fantastic and it included all the amenities we needed. However, the property was pretty dirty. Not just in an old house way, but there was hair in the fridge and freezer, a pile of hair in the bathtub drain, hair all over the shower curtain and hair all over the pillowcases. Plus a pile of toenail clippings in the corner of one bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning and laundry before feeling comfortable staying here.

Save directions! Nice location East Glacier entrance.

Location distance from entrance for East Glacier was ideal for our hiking plans. Appreciated the AC, wi-fi, and laundry. Recommend saving directions from property manager ahead of time as there is no cell service in this area and streets are not listed in google maps.

East Glacier Home Base

The house was the perfect home base for our family of five, while we explored eastern Glacier National Park. While we sometimes wished for a 2nd bathroom, the endless hot water from the tankless water heater was great. I really enjoyed the high-end detailed maps of Glacier, and other helpful extras the host provides with the house.

June 2023 Glacier visit

The location of the house is excellent for jumping off to many starting points on the east side of Glacier and close to gas and grocery stores. Having bear spray, a white noise machine, and on demand hot water was helpful and appreciated. The internet and TV access was great after long days hiking, allowing for researching hikes of the area and entertainment. I was disappointed that the yard wasn't mowed and didn't look like the pictures. Overall it was a quiet, convenient location and met my needs. The owner was responsive with ideas for hikes and other activities to do in the area.

Good for the East Side

The house was clean and was most likely one of the nicest houses in its neighborhood. However, be aware that some of the neighboring houses do not meet the same standards that this house does, which was a surprise. There were also lots of dogs running around. They did not bother us but you do hear them barking at night. Convient to the 2 Medicine Entrance but an hour drive to Many Glacier and St. MARY'S Entrance. Washer and dryer was a big plus for traveling with kids and having Wi-fi was helpful in planning for days spent in the park.

My name is Wendy, my husband goes by Smiles. One of the first entrepreneurs to start VRBO in the area, we have been doing it for 20 years. I started this adventure while teaching in Browning. During the summers I found myself sleeping in my garage (using the campground down the street for showers, etc.), while renting to travelers during the busy season and moving back into the house during the school year.

My story in Glacier National Park starts with my mother and her parents' love of the outdoors, trips to Glacier, the Cabinet mountains and family trips fly fishing on all rivers in northern Montana and Idaho. Then, in 1990 when I visited my brother working in Many Glacier I might have known I would do the same 6 years later, during the summer of my freshman year in college - 1996. In 2004, I applied for a teaching position in Browning, Mt., home of the Blackfeet Tribe, border of Glacier National Park.
I was a full time classroom teacher for nearly two decades teaching in such places as India and Mexico as well as spending 5 years of that experience teaching in the local town of Browning. Raised in northern Idaho, I love this area and the activities available here. More recently I have worked as a ski instructor for kids at the Whitefish Mountain Resort on the other side of Glacier Park in the town of Whitefish, Montana. I have spent enough time in the area to answer most of the questions you might have and am truly happy to do so. Sharing such a special place is my chance to change lives by helping people reconnect to the majesty of wild lands and refresh the spirit.

We love the extra space of a large yard, mountain view and the sound structure of the well-built house. In a nice neighborhood, with great neighbors, small town vibe and easy walking distance to most restaurants, etc., and the fresh clean air make this house simply cozy. Glad to call this place ours and to be able to share it with others who embrace the opportunity to visit Glacier National Park!

This well equipped house offers Air Conditioning, WIFI and private yard. The On-demand hot water system means there is no running out of hot water.
It sits on a double lot with privacy fencing manicured gardens, a small aspen grove in one corner, a great view of Dancing Lady Mountain and plenty of running space for children. The BBQ and PICNIC TABLE are a pleasure in the afternoon and setting sun of the evening, and, it is only TWO BLOCKS FROM MANY RESTAURANTS. The feeling one gets from the open space in the yard and the majestic mountains not far away is unmatched. The house and its location allow for the real feel of slowing down and appreciating the nature of the area.
