This cabin offers a unique combination of great views, comfort and seclusion. Perfect for a romantic getaway or for a family of four.

This solid log cabin has awesome views for 7 miles to the North of the Pine Mountains and 7 miles to the South. Wrap around porches and decks. The house is on 175 acres of timberland with only one other cabin and no other houses around.

This log cabin feels authentic with log furniture throughout.

Talbot county is one of the least populated and undeveloped counties in Georgia and you can really see that from this house! The house has all the modern amenities.

This cabin is a very different experience from other Pine Mountain rentals where you are packed into a sub-division with other cabins.

Best Mountain View in Georgia

We have stayed at this cabin three times over the last 15 years. It is extremely secluded, gorgeous views, and everything works great. The bonus is you get the mountain vacation experience without having to drive through Atlanta. Highly recommend.

Perfect privacy!

Beautiful cabin - very private and secluded. Felt safe as it was gated at the road. Beautiful views and not too far from a main town with food and shopping. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cabin with scenic views of the mountains. Total privacy with a welcoming atmosphere. Host was most welcoming! Perfect place for our anniversary getaway. Hope to stay again soon so that we can explore the area better with more time!

Beautiful Cabin and Property

Charles was great to work with, he made the whole process very simple. The cabin and property were amazing. Beautiful views from the deck and well marked hiking trails on the property were big bonus.

Absolutely Wonderful

The property and house were beautiful! Charles was a great host and was quick to respond. Easy 30 min drive to Callaway Gardens and less to The Little White House. Spent all of our extra time sitting on the porch looking at the scenery. We even went on a walk through the trail to the creek. We will be back!

Awesome view and quiet

Owner was very responsive to amy questions we had. Great quiet cabin with awesome view. Would definitely consider staying again. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay. It is a bit away from town, but if your looking for a quiet getaway, this is definitely it.

Quiet. well multiple trains, but not a big distraction. Carpenter bees were somewhat annoying. But, Cypress Cabin overall was delightful. We would consider another stay.

What AMAZING views!! LOVED the wrap around porch!!

We just loved staying at this cabin! It was so PEACEFUL!! The views from the wrap around porch was just SPECTACULAR!! We wanted to have a few days to do nothing and just relax and that is exactly what we did! The cabin has everything you need! The host, Charles, was great at communicating and responding to any of our questions!! We will definitely be back!!

What a View!

If you’re looking for privacy and a great view, this rental is a match for you. The owner was helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. We have already booked another one of his properties for the Fall. Might try them all and pick a favorite. I spent most my time enjoying the view from any window or side of the wraparound porch. We walked the well worn paths each morning for a couple hours. Beautiful & peaceful.

Beyond Expectations

My husband and I rented the Cypress cabin for a few days for a quiet vacation. We knew from the pictures it would be nice but when we arrived we could not believe how nice it was! The cabin itself was wonderful but the views from the wrap around porches far exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful that we spent most of our time outside. Our favorite thing about Cypress cabin was the peaceful seclusion. We felt like we were a million miles away from the busy world. At night it was so quiet that all we could hear was the chirping of crickets and the soothing sounds of distant trains, no car sounds or voices or sirens whatsoever. There was plenty of firewood provided and we enjoyed the fireplace very much. It was difficult to go home and we look forward to many more vacations in Woodland. Charles was an excellent host and answered all of our inquiries immediately. We recommend a Woodland vacation to anyone who loves nature, peacefulness, and serenity. Thanks Charles! The Kendalls

Secluded, Beautiful, Friendly, Perfect

This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. It was secluded, quiet, and beautiful. The owner's directions were meticulous and thorough, and he stayed in communication throughout making sure I had everything I needed. The cabin seemed brand new, and it had every amenity. It was spotless and lovely. The trails are well done, carefully marked, with signs throughout - I wanted a quiet weekend get away, and that is exactly what I got. Very grateful.

Amazing views

The house was beautiful, the property views were breath taking, and was extremely peaceful. We hiked the entire property, the creek side is steep and would have loved to have had a small bridge to cross it, but the challenge of getting to the other side made it more interesting. Definitely will stay again. Charles is a great host

Until recently, Charles lived in Woodland on a small farm with his wife. He has horses, dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. Now Charles lives in Columbus. Pat lives in Atlanta with his wife and two sons. Pat goes to Woodland frequently where he manages some timberland.

Many of my friends talked about getting away for the weekend to someplace secluded. Not to a resort or other tourist attraction but to someplace undeveloped with lots of space. Woodland is a peaceful place where everyone knows everyone and there are no large corporations. So I built this house and it has been a great success.
