The moment you step onto this historic piece of property, you’ll know how special it is! Originally the Ludlow Schoolhouse #8 in 1830, this home was converted in 1930 & most recently, fully renovated in 2023. You’ll love the new kitchen with granite counters and new appliances. This home boasts four cozy bedrooms, a second floor bonus room with TV, and a dedicated workspace. We provide the coffee & get you started with soaps; linens and towels are also provided. We take great pride in our home, and our cleaning standards are beyond expectation. You’ll love your stay here: far enough away to hear the crickets at night, yet close enough to town for all your needs and attractions.

Highly recommend the schoolhouse! Clean, comfortable and spacious was perfect for our family. Had lots of fun exploring nearby with lots to do!

This place was beautiful and peaceful. It was close to a lot of eating places near the Dayton area. They were helpful and even helped us out in a storm. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and let us know the history about the place.

We really enjoyed staying at the Schoolhouse over Christmas to be close to family! It was very cozy, had all the appliances and dishes we needed in the kitchen to make Christmas dinner, and we loved the historical setting. Would definitely stay here again!

The charm of this rental was exactly what we needed in the midst of a busy wedding weekend! The peaceful and serene property provided respite after some long days. We made great memories at the large dining table and the kitchen was well appointed for me to serve nice meals. The master bedroom is huge along with the bedroom. The best part was it was on the main floor! The laundry room was charming and large. Parking was ample to accommodate guests and each had their own parking space. We were sad we didn’t have time to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and swings. It looked like another great gathering area! We could not have found a better place to enjoy our celebratory weekend!

This place was just what my crew needed for a trip to the Wright Brothers museum, bike trails and breweries. Beautiful, well maintained private grounds with an amazing fire pit area. The beds were comfortable, kitchen is huge and nicely appointed and every room felt like it was recently updated. Communication with the host was timely, friendly and informative. Zero regrets!

Our stay was wonderful, the home is beautiful and provided plenty of room for our family. We loved how close it was to everything and will definitely book again next time we’re in town!

We held my son’s graduate school family gathering at the house. It was just perfect! The fire pit was the hit of the evening and was very comfortable. All the bedrooms are well appointed with plenty of charging stations. We appreciated the extra folding chairs for dinner. There was even a high chair if you need one. Everything was well marked with where to find supplies. Would absolutely stay here again!

This house was perfect for our group! We enjoyed how close it was to restaurants and shopping areas. The yard is large enough for outdoor activities, it’s shaded, clean and secluded. At night, the fire pit was great to sit around. The house was very clean and they even had their flag half mast for 9/11.All around a great experience.

Beautiful experience

Our stay was seamless from beginning to end. Property owner clearly cares and takes pride in their home. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, lots of amenities, and clean.

The place was great!!! It was very well done, all the comforts of home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us! Close enough to restaurants & shopping but in a peaceful country setting. Would definately stay there again!

Idyllic Vacation

My sister, mother, aunt and I were in Xenia to do some genealogical research. This was the perfect location. The beds are amazing, the home was cozy and clean, and they even dropped off an HDMI cord so we could put our research on the TV instead of huddling around a computer.It was an excellent visit and we would happily stay here again

Peaceful Country Living

The house was immaculate! Had not stayed in one that was this clean which was marvelous. The location was convenient in proximity to site-seeing. We had a sweet time.
