Beautiful home located on a peaceful property. I wish we could have stayed the entire week. Diane is kind and welcoming, and the best part, she built this place all from scratch, the listing pictures do not do this place justice. You will love it here!

The Chalet was clean, corky and fun. Beds where comfortable. It was a great place to stay the night before heading into the HOH for a backpacking trip. Diane sent a message to update me on the bridge closure which was just a really nice touch

Great place, beware of the spiral staircase. Very small steps and no wat to get luggage up to the bedroom.

What an amazing, magical property!! The Chalet is beautiful warm and cozy. The beds are very comfy. The host is wonderful and very engaging. I loved hanging out with the goats and chickens. The wood stove is fabulous and gives such warmth and homey feeling. The location is great for Kalaloch, Ruby Beach and all the beaches in between. We were honored with a visit from a Hoh Tribal elder and storyteller. It was my best birthday trip in a very long time. We will definitely be back!!

The Hoh Chalet was a cute and quaint place to stay. Not only convenient to highly desirable locations in Olympic, the chalet is clearly a labor of love for the host, Diane. The stairs can be challenging, the lighting was a little dim, and there were limited outlets for devices by the 1st bed upstairs (we only used one of the beds, so we didn’t investigate the 2nd), but as an off-grid, eco-friendly building these latter two points are not dealbreakers at all. It was a very lovely stay.

This was a neat “rustic” semi off- grid type place. Very close to Hoh forest and several beaches. Host let us pick wild berries near by, yum

A cozy place that felt comfortable. We enjoyed picking our own Marion berries and sitting outside on the picnic table. The location the Hoh Rainforest is super convenient.We enjoyed our stay, thanks.

The house was scrupulously clean on our visit, and was well supplied in both kitchen and bathroom. Host checked on us soon after we arrived, and we had a delightful conversation. The house book contains loads of information about the house and the local area.Host built this chalet, using an array of materials, with an eye to being as self-contained and off-the-grid as possible. As a result, it's a bit quirky. We had water, power, and wifi, and the location is terrific. Beds are upstairs, with access via a narrow spiral staircase. I loved it; it wasn't my husband's cup of tea.

Very nice place. Convenient for Olympic Peninsula exploration. Just a couple of miles from Ruby Beach and very close to the Hoh rainforest inside Olympic National Park. Downstairs is kitchen & living room, both bedrooms upstairs.
