The Lake Ridge house was perfect! It was comfortable, clean, spacious and very well organized! Would totally stay there again!

Wonderfully well appointed home! Perfect for large family gatherings! Beds are comfortable and the house clean and organized! Near Rec 1 with easy access to the lake and amenities!

Our Group has stayed at this property for two years in a row because of ; excellent kitchen organization & map, beautiful bedrooms, large living room that accommodated 8 adults & lovely large dining room. But the show stopper is the great front porch. This summer we had cooler weather & stay almost all the day light hours there. This property is also close to Rec 1 and the beach area.

This house is in a terrific location, and it's got everything you need for wonderful vacation! Very clean and the downstairs living room and play area was perfect for my 2 grandchildren. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and definitely want to come back. It was very easy to house three families, cook, and spend time together in the main living spaces. The hosts are very communicative which we greatly appreciate!

We had a great stay with family and friends at this property. The owners were very accommodating with communication, check-in process, and even letting us know about community events while we were there. The house comfortably accommodated two families. The kids loved the game room downstairs. The location of this house is amazing, with just a short walk to rec 1.

Fabulous place to stay!

We stayed here for our annual family trip. With a mix of ages 1-78 it was perfect. A spot for both teenagers and adults. The teenagers loved the downstairs which had a ping pong table, Wei and all kinds of board games. The upstairs was perfect where adults could gather and catch up. Definitely a great place to stay.

Very nice property for family reunion. Walking distance to Rec Area 1. Quiet location. Fully supplied with spices and all cooking utensils. Well organized layout. Plenty of board games and videos for the kids. We would recommend without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time. The house is located about midway on the peninsula & we took scenic walks every day.The house has available every appliance & utensil that you can imagine (blender, toaster, coffee pot) including an excellent kitchen map!It is an incredibly quiet house with a large dining table that we sat around every evening. We also took advantage of the spacious deck in front with a beautiful view of trees.

Spacious home in a lovely setting, walkable to the lake and rec areas. Well equipped with everything needed for a stay, with a well-appointed kitchen and laundry room. Decks to the front and back offer the chance to sit out for meals or a drink or to use the grill. Can be warm indoors on a hot summer day but there are fans supplied in all rooms and often an evening breeze off the lake. Plenty of lake activities available or visit Chester or hike Mount Lassen. Our first visit to the area and we loved it.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 teens thoroughly loved our stay at Lake Almanor. First our hosts were outstanding! The communication was excellent and they responded quickly if we had any questions. They were very welcoming! The house was clean and had a cool 70's vibe. It has great front porch that we enjoyed a lot especially for bird watching and star gazing. A nice back porch with a long table for eating was also appreciated. Kitchen had every pan or tool we needed for cooking, with plenty of spices and seasonings but be sure to bring your own sugar, flour and oil. Easy 1/2 mile walk to Rec 1 or Rec 2 beaches - be sure to enjoy both! Hosts provide some beach toys, board games, and other toys. Ping Pong table was not full size but we had fun challenging each other.Our teens enjoyed taking over the downstairs and said the bunk beds were comfy. Our beds were comfy also. Everyone slept well. Every house has its quirks - while there are 3 full bathrooms - there are only 2 showers. That just took a little scheduling for the adults.Checking in to the house was super easy, but be aware that the check-in at security on Clifford Dr. can take up to an hour if it's on a busy day. Not sure if there is a work around on this- we should have asked! We loved our stay and would absolutely return.

Highly Recommended!

We had such a nice stay at this well maintained and spacious house! The Owner’s had great communication, let us know when we could check in, and were just overall nice to work with. There was plenty of room for our two families, and the kids loved playing downstairs in the spacious Game Room. They also loved having a sleepover in the bunk room. The house was well stocked with Kitchen supplies, and had plenty of places to sit and eat together. We enjoyed breakfast in the Dining Room, and dinners on the back porch. The bedrooms were spacious with room for luggage and dressers to put clothes in and the beds were all comfortable with nice sheets. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels. This house is close proximity to Rec 1 and we had fun taking bike rides and walks down there, and to the point. We would definitely rent this house again!
