This wonderful lake home sits in the perfect spot over looking the main channel waters of Lake Barkley onto the Land Between the Lakes where the views are stunning year around.

The home has a great wrap around deck where you can enjoy sunrise and sunsets, a covered patio with a table and where you can BBQ, a fantastic side yard where the kids can play and a two car garage. You can also take a steep hike down to water's edge where you can take a walk or go fishing. We have avid bird watchers stay here, as you will see wildlife all around.

You will truly enjoy the inside where you will find 20 foot ceilings with floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the view from the inside. There are updated appliances, a large bathroom and a wonderful family area for gathering, playing games or just relaxing around the fire.

This place is a great place to relax and just to get away from our hectic lives. Also, it is a great place to have great fun and make memories. The location is convenient to many recreation ventures such as marina's, restaurants, shopping, golf, hunting, water park, and Land Between the Lakes.

The view of the lake is truly breathtaking with the sunsets. At any given moment you may see all kinds of wildlife, from birds, bald eagles, deer, and fox.

This place is perfect for a couple or a family . It has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed/ 1 full bed) and a large bathroom.

We have just updated the living room furniture with more updates throughout the house to come in the future.

We have made so many wonderful memories with our kids and friends.... we hope you do as well.

Relaxing cabin on Lake Barkley

My husband and I, along with our 2 kids (ages 21 & 19) and our dog enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in the beautiful home. We were looking for a place to reconnect and unplug. Our daughter attends Murray State, so this was a great meeting point. The view of the lake/river is beautiful. We loved stargazing and watching the wildlife: migrating geese, bald eagles, birds, and deer. The sunsets were beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and the overall setting was peaceful. The main living area is spacious yet still has a cozy feel to it. The master bedroom is snug, but the view is beautiful and the bed is comfortable. The kids shared the second bedroom, but we brought a twin air mattress for our son to use, while his older sister took the double bed. There was plenty of room to move around in that room even with the air mattress set up. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the deck is perfect in every way. There is no water access from the cabin, but since we didn't have a boat and weren't planning to go into the water, this was fine with us. The street is very quiet and was a great place to take the dog for a walk. The cabin is close to LBL, and fairly easy to get to. We will definitely stay here again. My husband said that it was the best vacation he has ever had. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to listen to nature, read a book, play board games but still want to be close to civilization, this place is an absolute gem! We loved every minute we were there.

End Of Summer Getaway

Beautiful, clean property inside and out. The kitchen had everything you need. Grill was clean and easy to use. The care taker was proactive regarding our stay with her thoughtfulness. A couple of items that may need attention: 1. There was no clear path down to the waterfront and 2. Extra wall mirrors in the bedrooms would be useful with only one bathroom in the house.

Beautiful, peaceful place

Wonderful place to stay. Near many activities at land between the lakes. Nina(property manager) greeted us and was available for any concerns. Will stay again.

Family get together

The home was quite nice. Kitchen very well stocked with anything that could possibly be needed. The weather was wonderful so we had the pleasure of being outside a good bit of our stay. Scenery was very relaxing. Thanks for sharing your home.

Peaceful spot by the lake

One of the most relaxing stays we've ever experienced as family. We saw deer, bald eagles, lots of barges that went by and was fun to watch. Great views, and kitchen was well stocked with necessary pots/pans, accessories. I was sad to leave. Would stay here again!

Peaceful

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We enjoyed watching the boats and barges go by. Saw a river boat one day also. It’s a nice area and very quiet. We saw all kinds of birds. The eagles visited us and would sit in the tree. We met a couple of the neighbors very nice people. Visited the bison and elk prairie. We were able to see both. We walked on some trails and visited the LBL recreation area. Nice area with plenty of deer and their fawns. We enjoyed our stay very nice and relaxing.

Great Place on the Lake. Amazing Views! Awesome Sunsets!

Loved the place! Had everything you could possibly ask for in the kitchen. We didn't have a need to contact the host but their information was present and helpful. The lake view was amazing! It was cool to see some barges go by every once in a while. There isn't access to the lake which was fine for us but it is something to be aware of. We went to an animal preserve close by and saw some elk and buffalo. Also went on a few hikes. Great location!

Peace and quiet with great views

Great views overlooking the river. We saw six eagles in the two days we were there. All of the windows just floods the house with natural light and it was beautiful! We enjoyed our time there relaxing. Thank you Summer for allowing us to check in early. We would recommend this home.

Exactly what we wanted!

This home is exactly as advertised and was the perfect retreat for me and my daughter to hide away for a few days before Thanksgiving to eat, watch movies, and be lazy. Gorgeous views, responsive owner/caretaker, wonderful fireplace, fast internet, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen. High recommend! Thank you for letting us relax and recharge in your beautiful home!

Peaceful Retreat

Such a beautiful, peaceful location! Loved the views & the cozy home. Appreciate the extras like stocked k-cups. Kids loved seeing all of the deer in the neighborhood. We had a great time!

Beautiful View

The view from the house is very beautiful. We saw deer, foxes, and eagles from the deck. The only down side was there are 5 of us and even though the listing says it sleeps 6 there really is only enough sleeping space for 4.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

My family and I stayed 2 nights at this location. It has all the needs for a short stay. The views are amazing, and there is a lot of wildlife to see.

Peace & Quiet at Lakeside Cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lakeside Cabin on Barkley Lake! We were so happy to have a garage for our truck which locked easily and even had the use of a garage door opener during our stay. We really enjoyed our wildlife visitors who came on a regular basis...a red fox and many deer! The cabin was so clean and everything worked well...ceiling fans, washing machine, shower! We will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful porch and other cabin amenities. Oh, we did much of our own cooking and found everything needed including high quality pot/pans, utensils, and dishes. Thank you for a much-needed getaway!

Just what we needed!

The property was just as described. The property was stocked very well with just about everything you need. Nice quiet neighborhood and beautiful spot to watch sunsets. It was a little chilly when we visited so we got to take advantage of the chimnea to sit around while the sun was setting.

Very nice place to stay

Very nice accommodations and little extras like k-cups, creamers and sweeteners along with tea and bottled water. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us.

Thankful Thanksgiving!

This home, location, and spectacular view led to an amazing, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday getaway with my hubby & beagle. The home had all the amenities we needed. The fireplace with a bundle of firewood created a cozy last night ambience. The location was perfect to hike and explore with provided maps and brochures for orientation. And last but not least the picturesque window view was breathtaking. We saw bald eagles, pelicans and a glimpse of barge life with barges passing up & down Lake Barkley. We saw & heard duck hunters nestled in on Friday on the island across. We were prepared for rain so it did not slow us down in exploration and adventure. My only wish is on me, I wish we would have brought the movie On Golden Pond. One because we love it , & two the town history we learned about. No correlation with the two btw.
