There is hiking/biking in the wilderness 15 minutes in any direction. The house is 4 blocks from downtown Missoula and 6 blocks from the University of Montana. Within a 4 block area are the following businesses: Orange Street Food Farm Grocery Store; Clyde Coffee; Big Dipper Ice Cream; The Roxy Movie Theater; Compass Barber Shop; Green Source Organic Market (juices, smoothies, and bowls); Le Petit Bake House; KettleHouse Brewing Company; Taco Sano; Bernice's Bakery; Meadowsweet Herbs; Shakespeare and Co. skiing, kayaking, biking and other outdoor sports, and great education. We have loved living here for the past thirty-four years. I love being able to open this home where our children lived while attending the University of Montana up to others to make their visit to Missoula special because it's such a beautiful, comfortable home in an ideal location. You can walk to downtown and the University of Montana in minutes.
