**This home received a complete renovation after experiencing extensive damage from Hurricane Irma in September 2017. The renovation was completed in February 2019 and took the old home down to the studs and added a new roof truss system, all flooring, all drywall, brand new kitchen, new water lines, new water softener system, new electric, fixtures and much more!
This single-story home sits on the beautiful 3,320 acre Lake Placid which boasts an immaculate, white sandy beach and a clear sandy bottom. There is no other lake like this in the area!
This is Margaritaville on fresh water!!
The gradual slope of the lake shore enables worry-free play time for the kids, while you enjoy one of the largest docks on Lake Placid. With approximately 75% covered and 25% exposed, you can enjoy as little or as much sun as you like!
The rear of the home faces east and gives you a 180 degree view of this beautiful lake. This enables you to watch beautiful sunrises from the large, screened-in porch, drinking your beverage of choice. During the hot summers, the porch facing east enables the sun to set behind you so you can enjoy the afternoon breeze on the porch (or in the hot tub) without the blazing sun in your face.
The public boat ramp is four houses away.
The town of Lake Placid offers many festivals throughout the year. Sebring is 15 miles away. Disney is 90 miles away.
This is the perfect home to spend a romantic getaway or time with family and friends.
