**This home received a complete renovation after experiencing extensive damage from Hurricane Irma in September 2017. The renovation was completed in February 2019 and took the old home down to the studs and added a new roof truss system, all flooring, all drywall, brand new kitchen, new water lines, new water softener system, new electric, fixtures and much more!

This single-story home sits on the beautiful 3,320 acre Lake Placid which boasts an immaculate, white sandy beach and a clear sandy bottom. There is no other lake like this in the area!

This is Margaritaville on fresh water!!

The gradual slope of the lake shore enables worry-free play time for the kids, while you enjoy one of the largest docks on Lake Placid. With approximately 75% covered and 25% exposed, you can enjoy as little or as much sun as you like!

The rear of the home faces east and gives you a 180 degree view of this beautiful lake. This enables you to watch beautiful sunrises from the large, screened-in porch, drinking your beverage of choice. During the hot summers, the porch facing east enables the sun to set behind you so you can enjoy the afternoon breeze on the porch (or in the hot tub) without the blazing sun in your face.

The public boat ramp is four houses away.

The town of Lake Placid offers many festivals throughout the year. Sebring is 15 miles away. Disney is 90 miles away.

This is the perfect home to spend a romantic getaway or time with family and friends.

Loved this property

Would definitely stay here again. The Bennett’s were great hosts and easy to work with. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and good neighbors. The lake was quiet and relaxing. The hosts provided lots of towels, linens and extras.

Jeb has a wonder place right here on Lake Placid proper. House was very and nicely appointed. Was great to work with and the communication was excellent. We plan on coming back

Beautiful setting

Girls birthday weekend, we had a great stay. Beautiful view of the lake, lovely sunrise, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Convenient location to downtown Lake Placid.

Great Lake House!

What a beautiful home directly on Lake Placid. Glorious sunrise every day! Well stocked home. Large screened patio for lounging and watching a pair of cranes that visited every day. So peaceful. We would love to return again!

Perfect weekend getaway

Lovely property - very clean, spacious, well stocked. They really thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We cooked every meal at the house - there were plenty of dishes, cookware, and the appliances were clean & new. We are a family of 5 and having a 3rd bathroom was awesome. The driveway was long and comfortably held the cars/trailer. The patio was large and screened in and had plenty of seating. It was nice having a grill available too. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The living room had a giant couch that fit all of us & we could watch movies at night together. The dock was well maintained with a large sandy beach. Everything was very clean and nice. This was the best place we’ve stayed in Lake Placid so far. The lake was large and even though it was the weekend it was very quiet on the water. The host was friendly and responded quickly. We made so many great family memories. Thank you!

Wonderful and Welcoming

We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the house! Very spacious and loved having the 3rd bathroom off of the living area and the jacuzzi on the back porch!! The lake had a nice beach area and the water was very clean!! Will definitely be booking again 😆

Perfect house

We enjoyed staying at this house. The owner was very responsive. It was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of space! We loved the back porch and direct access to the bathroom was great! We will definitely stay in this house again!

Beautiful Home Away from Home

This is by far the best lake house we have rented to date. From the moment we arrived we knew this was an exceptional house. Extremely comfortable with no shortness of space inside and outside. Everything you need to enjoy your stay has been provided. The spacious living area, including kitchen, dining and bar was great for gathering for fun games, crafts, movies and meals. The well equipped kitchen with new appliances made cooking a pleasure. The screened porch with hot tub overlooking the beautiful yard, white sandy beach and clear lake is amazing. Our kids had so much fun swimming, tubing and catching lots of fish from the well-maintained dock. So many great memories were made. Jeb was fantastic to deal with and we look forward to coming back soon!

Awesome Lake House on Lake Placid

Couldn’t ask for a nicer house on Lake Placid. House was very clean and the size was more than adequate for our family. The back yard beach was prefect for kids to play on and the dock was very nice with plenty of room to tie up our boat. The host, Jeb, was great and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely plan on coming back and staying here.

family Christmas get together

It's a great house and very clean and the main living area is very spacious and comfortable. The host was very responsive when we called about a malfunction of the ice maker. Several of our family members enjoyed the hot tub and the beach and dock area as well. We would recommend the house and the host fully.

Great Home

The house is very nice. Love the open plan. Plenty of seating. Enjoyed the hot tub. Caught a few bass off the dock. Comfy beds. would definitely return.

Beautiful

We wanted to rent a lake house after visiting some friends last year. We are a large family and found this house to fit us perfectly. There was plenty of room to sleep, a large spacious living area, a large back lanai and more. The private beach access had plenty of white sand for the little ones to dig in, and the access to the public boat ramp made unloading and loading our jetskis a breeze. I highly recommend this property.

Paradise

This is my favorite vacation with my family. This is the most beautiful and serene place to have wonderful family time. Can't wait to go next summer, it will be my fourth summer time visit in a row... The water is perfect for my grand babies to play without worry, they love to play on the beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear shallow water.
