The house was great and perfect for our girls weekend. Plenty of space for us to all be at a table to play games lots of room on the deck and plenty of places to sleep for the 8 of us.

Family-friendly spot with lots to do! The nine of us (three generations) enjoyed our time together using the pool, playing basketball, playing pickleball, and enjoying all that the Mears, Hart, Pentwater area has to offer!

We really enjoyed our stay, it's in a surprisingly private area surrounded by trees and all of the outdoor spaces are the highlight here. My group of 8 loved this property, and I can see ourselves coming back again! Ryan's a great host

Very nice house and was very clean and very nice fire pit area. Spacious deck with enough chairs for everyone and great place to hang out in the early morning with a cup coffee and in the evening as well. The make up of the floor plan and the bedrooms and beds was perfect for our family. The host Ryan was great and responded to any questions we had and provided information that made the check in and check out very easy. Look forward to staying here again when we return to Silver Lake.

This home is nicer than the outdoor picture shows. It's super clean. There is plenty of space, dishes, and eating area for 12 people. The lawn is grass rather than dirt like many in this wooded area, so it's great for littles to run around and play. It is directly next to one of the compact crushed stone trails through the woods to the main Floradale area where the pool and game courts are. The trail easily has space for pulling littles on a bike trailer to get to the pool. We've been renting in the Floradale area for about 10 years, at Silver Lake for over 40 years. This spot is quieter than most, close to Floradale amenities and a short stroll to the large, seldom used, shared beach.The only downside is typical of many cottages built at this time; it is dark inside with the wood interior. However, this gives it a true Up North feel as it's decorated with a woodsy bear theme. Ryan is just a text away with any questions.

Silver Lake Family Trip

The house and the neighborhood are very nice. House is on a nice wooded lot with a great fire pit with plenty of seating.

Great Location with Attentive Host

Our stay in Silver Lake did not disappoint! Ryan was a very attentive host and the house was perfect for our family. The access to the boat and the lake made for a relaxing getaway that didn’t feel rushed. The houses proximity to great food and treats was wonderful too. Would definitely recommend!

Private cabin, quiet area

Had a wonderful time at this cabin with friends and family in the FloraDale Association! Large deck and yard with fireplace for s’mores and late nights, plenty of parking, and lots of sleeping options.

Great location

House has a nice backyard and fire pit area. You don’t see any other houses and feels private. So easy to get to the lake and put in your boat.

A great place for a family reunion

The house is very clean and has everything one may need, and even more. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It was great to use the new fire pit and the private swimming pool, tennis courts, and table tennis. Close to Silver Lake, sand dunes, and Lake Michigan. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Fweamily Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked out very well. 3 levels gave each group of our family their on level. Ryan the host very accommodating. Thanks Ryan we had a very pleasant stay.

Great place, great ammenities

Great property. Loved the Yardzee and firepit at house. The pool was a huge hit. The kids, both teenagers and kids at heart (40+), loved how fast the slide was. Great proximity to dune rides and lighthouse. Would stay again.

Check-in went well after we got the lock figured out and we unlocked the opportunity to make some amazing family memories! Host was attentive to anything that came up, the house worked perfectly for us, kitchen is well stocked with supplies and super helpful to have some items for smaller children. The screen porch is great for family game time and the deck looking out over the woods is so peaceful. The firepit was relaxing to use and the couch is great for napping after a day at the beach. The local activities are lots of fun too. The whole family would like to go back!

We sadly had to leave Silver Lake this morning. This property was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for one mom taking six teenage boys on a lake vaca. The two 17 year olds commandeered the basement. The four 15 year olds claimed the oversized upstairs loft area. I took a room on the main level. The two extra bunks on the main level went unused this trip, but maybe next time. The kitchen was an open ended galley style which made it easy to use and great for maneuvering around the house. The hosts provided all the necessary kitchenware and several extras. There was a pantry for all our food to be hidden away and off the counter. The four top table in the kitchen was great for our random eating habits. The big table on the enclosed porch and/or the two tables on the back deck worked great when we all sat down to share a meal. The big table was ideal for cards and board games. We mostly loved the enclosed porch for keeping our outdoor gear out of the way while still being secure and also to keep sandy shoes out of the house. The firepit was a HUGE HIT! We played soccer, visited in the comfy Adirondack chairs and of course made s’mores. The hosts also provided a few outdoor games.The boys loved the heated pool, b-ball court and tennis court for pickleball. Being within walking distance of the beach area, Craig’s Cruisers and other businesses was a bonus. We rented the hosts pontoon for the week for tubing, cruising, swimming, and the dunes.Highly recommend!Holly (07/2026)

Great time in Silver Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Ryan quickly responded to any questions and even came by when needed. We appreciated having a variety of options for sleeping and the 3 levels of the property. We only wish we could have stayed longer to get to know everything the area has to offer.

Silver Lake 2024

My family and I stayed at Silver Lake in 2012 and had a great time. In 2024, we wanted to relive that experience, and our stay did not disappoint. We had a great time catching up, swimming, playing games, and having campfires—and that was just at the property! The area offers a lot of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
