I would recommend water shoes if you desire to do any swimming as the "beach" area is quite rocky.

Enjoyed our stay at the home. The amenities were very nice quality. Communication with host and check in went great. Loved listening to the birds on the property and table was big enough for our games in the evening.

The cabin is in a great location with easy access to the lake. The area closest to the lake was full of flowering plants so therefore full of giant butterflies and hummingbirds. Great birdwatching even spotted a bald eagle in the tree. The owners were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Kitchen had all necessary equipment and barbeque was excellant. Easy to find great places to eat in Menominee and Marinette.

great location! The kitchen and dinning room was perfect for our group. The lake side family room was beautiful at sunrise. AC worked well for everyone. The patio was big enough for activities. We plan on staying again!

Family

Check-in was a breeze. The property was beautiful. The view was spectacular. Quiet too! The house was nicely decorated and we had everything we needed, from kitchen, to bathrooms, to bedrooms, all supplies were included. Extra touches everywhere. And if you have teenagers, the games in the bedrooms, and four TVs, and the kayaks were a big hit. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing. Wanting more swimming, but with rocks it was a challenge. Overall is a nice place and would come back again! Thank you for letting us use your home.

Beautiful!

The hosts went out of their way to make our stay perfect! The kayaking was amazing. Saw bald eagles every day! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed! The bath salts and bathtub tray were a great touch! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

4th of july vacation

Excellent location. Easy access to boat launch. Perfect kayaking were able to launch from the property. Views were incredible. We saw a bold eagle daily in front of the property. Owners were very responsive and helpful and gave us tips in regard to dining activities and firework events. The house was very well furnished and owners made sure everything was very well stocked. We were very pleased with everything and we will be back for sure!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable, comfortable cottage and would book again.

My mom, sister, & I enjoyed an 8-night stay. The house is nicely appointed. From the plush linens & thick, comfortable towels, to the complimentary tea/coffee, it felt more like staying at a friend’s house. The furnishings are very comfortable & the appliances are very nice. We used the W/D, accessed outside. Detergent & dryer sheets were provided. We planned to kayak/relax at the water but couldn’t due to a fish die off. This occurs often on the lake, to varying degrees, & after a few days there were hundreds of dead fish. The odor was horrific. (Note: other beaches in the area were also affected). While it was unfortunate that we didn’t get to enjoy the lakefront, the view from the expansive windows was breathtaking. We were entertained for hours each day by Bald eagles, Canada Geese, Kingfishers, Seagulls, and Heron. There was always something happening in the pond area next to the property (bring binoculars!). The communication from the host was exceptional and prompt. There are a few minor improvements to suggest: WiFi was poor on our phones, but not the TV. We noticed brief improvement after a reset, but it was slow again the next day. When it rains, the yard down to the lake becomes a sludgy/muddy marsh. Adding stepping stones might help. Finally, the description mentions a sandy beach. There’s a sandy area by the house, but not at the waterfront. It wasn’t an issue for us, but someone expecting a sandy waterfront might be confused. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful views, but did not feel comfortable

The pros:Check in was extremely easy and it was communicated perfectly on how to access building. We had a large group and the house was able to fit all of us and they were super cool about the additional members. I very much appreciated that. The house appeared to have everything we needed. We could not locate washer and dryer because usually during my stays I leave the house fully clean and I do the linens and towels and I wasn’t able to do that but the description stated there was a washer and dryer but we couldn’t locate. Neighbors were friendly and waved everytime we passed. No noise from any neighbor that we could hear. The views and sound of the waves was everything! The cons: BUGS GALORE! The bugs were terrible to the point that I did not go outside, only to leave into town. My family still enjoyed it and loaded up on bug spray to help but I could not endure and spent my weekend stuck inside. We were told after arriving there was a storm there 3 days prior and that the yard had items for bug collection and water. There was poison ivy in the yard as well and nephews got some bad rashes from it. I would highly suggest getting the area sprayed to help with the amount of bugs. There’s a branch that must’ve broke during the storm and it looks like it’s going to come down any minute. Another con was when I did message I felt more like another and even letting them know we left(earlier that check out time) I never received a reply. I wish I could’ve enjoyed it.
