Overall, our stay was good. The property needs a bit of TLC and a deep cleaning. The location was within reasonable distance to all sites we were interested in exploring.

We had the best family trip. We didn’t really go anywhere because the cabin had everything we needed to keep the kids and adults entertained! We will definitely be renting this one again

Amazing!

The stay was amazing! Really loved our time here and it was a perfect getaway for our large group. We were astonished by the cleaniness, the environment and the host was amazing!

Hawthorn Haven was great, had 1 hick up but with cooler weather it guened out to not be bad..had a great time

Great place to stay with our church youth group! The game room was great! We loved looking at the animals near the home. Well stocked home & comfortable beds!

Mountain Getaway with Friends

House was great, beware of the roads if it’s winter our sedan couldn’t get up the driveway but the host was very flexible with letting us put the cars elsewhere!

We had a great stay! The Lodge is very well equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of space to spread out. There is a downstairs living room, an upstairs living room, and a play room. Everything was very clean. The only con was the water pressure is not very good, but there is nothing else to complain about. We will be back!

The Lodge

The house was perfect for our group. We had ages 8-88. The kids loved the game room and the elders so loved watching them. We bought apples and carrots so we could feed the animals everyday. The kids named them all and were so sad to leave them. We enjoyed our time at the Lodge. You will too

Stayed at this cabin for a group motorcycle trip. The house is beautiful and clean, with plenty of beds/bedrooms for multiple to stay and sleep. The property is scenic, and accessed by a gravel road. The hill leading up to the access road is quite steep with speed humps so bikers beware. The host was very responsive and provided turn by turn directions as GPS does not lead you to the house. She also provided a list of grocery stores in the area, which was helpful. I would definitely stay here again

Mountain Family Retreat

Hawthorn Haven was a great place to stay with family! We came here for a wedding and spent a week. There was plenty of space for 4 families to spread out and have their own space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The gameroom was a big hit. Drawbacks…the foosball table just needs replaced. And a broom for cleaning up our messes would be great. There may have been one here, but we couldn’t find it. It was a wonderful place! We would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The game room kept the kids playing and having fun while we loved catching up on the back porch! Just the perfect accomodation for us! We will be back... Ricky
