Great for families

This house was great for our family. It is very spacious and had a beautiful view from the back porch. If it’s available we would love to stay here again in the future.

Great Views and close to Tube World and slopes

We had a party of 12 and the house was as advertised. Very enjoyable stay. Recommend all wheel drive to climb the mountain.

Golf weekend.

Had a great in Maggie Valley for a bachelor weekend. The house and view exceeded our expectations. Had a great time golfing, grilling, and gambling. Would definitely recommend!

Top of the mountain

This lovely home was a great place for our family to stay while we commemorated our mother. We grew up around here and it was wonderful to be able to be so high up in the mountains again.

Great thanksgiving week!!

If you want to stay above the clouds this is the house for you! Home owners were great to deal with excellent communication. Views were great and home was spacious. Would recommend.

Great home with lots of room!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is open and roomy, with lots of space for time together while also having individual spaces for quiet time. The porch has great views and comfortable furniture for some awesome outdoor sitting. I highly recommend this house!

Beautiful

Property was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. The home was located high in the mountains, but easy to get to. The home was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed. The view was amazing as well. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Fantastic views in a wonderful cabin

With a family of 9 ranging from 1 to 74, this cabin was the perfect place to get away. The views were spectacular, the house comfortable and spacious, and the pantry and kitchen stocked with more than I've ever seen in a rental property. Thanks so much for giving us a place to remember forever!

Amazing Stay!!

My friends and I had a great stay at this property. It was exactly if not better than the pictures showed. The view from the back porch was breathtaking. Also, communication with the owners was excellent and they responded quickly. I would say bringing a vehicle with four-wheel drive would be recommended especially if there is snow because the drive up to the property is steep and windey.

Vacation

I will have to say that the cabin made our first extended family vacation a success. The cabin was spacious, clean and well taken care of. The best part of the whole week were the views that we had each morning at sunrise and each evening at sunset. All the kitchenware we needed to prepare meals was provided. The whole family had a wonderful time.

70th birthday celebration

Turkeys and a bear spotted by relatives on the way to the house - fabulous long view from the deck and living room - house is comfortable, well stocked with kitchen essentials and bathroom towels - quiet - good fireplace - beautiful woods surrounding the house - bedrooms on three levels so guests can spread out - lovely place to rest and relax.

Mountain rental

On the top of the mountain is where this house is located and the views are terrific. The drive up is a long winding road, which takes a good 20 min in and out of town. We saw deer, and turkeys mere feet away. Nicely decorated and clean, washer and dryer in home, along with plenty of games and entertainment. Gas grill on deck worked but it needs an upgrade. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely amazing!!!!

First off, Michael & Donna are absolutely amazing owners! They are so incredibly accommodating and attentive! The home is gorgeous and has everything you need to have a stress free, relaxing vacation. It is an awesome home to be able to get away and escape - not to mention the view is AMAZING! It easily accommodated four couples, with plenty of room to have your own space. I highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again! :) Thank you again Michael & Donna!!

View Space

The house is massive which makes it great for large parties. The kitchen is very well stocked. Mattress and bedding top notch. There's no wifi and you must drive your trash to the collection site. Michael responded quickly and was very kind.

Needs Updating & Dirty

Our family was very underwhelmed by the stay. House was dirty, our 9 month old had hair and dirt on his hands from crawling inside the house. Sure we were a 24 hour notice stay, but the house should be clean, no exceptions. We checked out after 1 night because the house was not what it shows.

An experience that should not be missed

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful house for 2 weeks. It is well equipped, very comfortable and has mesmerizing long range views. Most mornings we were treated to spectacular sunrises with fog in between the layers of hills and mountains. It is so pleasant to stay there, you can easily relax on the deck with a gentle breeze and do nothing. The house is very private and has no neighbors in sight, unlike many rentals that you can see other houses as part of your view. The owners Michael and Donna are very kind and accommodating. We're very thankful that they are willing to share their well maintained property for others to enjoy. We've been renting in the area every summer for a few years now and this property we would recommend highly.
