Secluded 2 bedroom home nestled on 11 acres on top of the beautiful Baraboo bluffs. Large private yard, oodles of things to do and see all within a 15 mile radius...Devil's Lake State Park has swimming, fishing, hiking trails, rock climbing, picnic and playgrounds as well as cross country skiing and is only 5 miles away. Devil's Head Ski & Golf Resort is about 5 miles as well. Circus World Museum and historic downtown Baraboo only 5 miles as well. On a snowmobile route to trails. The infamous Wisconsin Dells 'waterpark central' only 12 miles away, as well as Ho-Chunk Casino. Even more within 40 miles....beautiful House on the Rock attraction.
Large living room with tv, dvd, vcr & stereo with cd player. 2 bedrooms (one queen, one double twin). Sofa sleeper & Extra queen mattress available for living room. Large yard with patio, plenty of room to roam & a nice big fire pit. Garage bar with table for cards, games or extra dining space. Fully equipped kitchen with island and full dining room. Lots of board games & puzzles & even high speed Wi-Fi if you need it. Pack your clothes, grab the kids & hit the grocery store on the way. Gas grill provided as well. All linens provided and laundry on site. Pets considered on a case by case basis with additional pet fee & pet agreement. Property manager only a half mile away. Compare our rates to other Baraboo listings...half the price!

Great place to get away from the city with the family. Very close to Devils Lake state park. Clean, comfortable, and all necessities are available. We had a great time.

Absolutely beautiful place. Loved being secluded especially having loudy, rambunctious kids. Loved that there was a binder with ideas and places nearby to order out. Only like 10 ish minutes from devils lake and half hour from the Dells. My kids and I had an absolute blast. It’s a good spot for a glow stick dance party. :)

This cottage was a great match for what we needed. With prior permission, we set up a tent in the yard, so we got the fun of camping while still having the comforts of a house and full cooking access for our group. Our host, Gretchen, was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and she offered great local recommendations for indoor activities when a stretch of rainy weather rolled in. We spent most of our time hiking the trails at Devil's Lake State Park and enjoying nightly campfires at the cabin. We'd absolutely book again.

Gretchen was very pleasant to work with. It's a cute little house with all you would need for any length stay, minus the food. It's minutes away from Devil's Lake State Park and very quiet and peaceful. So relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the city. We could see ourselves retiring in a home like this. So sweet! It feels like Grandma's house.

Wonderful new driveway made getting up to the house a breeze! Had a perfect fall getaway with family. Wonderful fire pit area and close to Devils Lake State Park.

Ski Trip Year 2!

We had just a wonderful time at Granny‘s cottage! We stayed here about two years ago for our first friends ski trip and loved it so much that we booked it again this year. The location is great for skiing at Cascade Mountain. The home is tucked away, nice and private for a fun getaway.

Family Vacation

My family was camping at Devil’s Lake and this home was perfect. Close enough to participate, yet not stay in a tent. The property was quiet, clean, and had the a well-equipped kitchen. We were very happy with our stay

Annual fall trip

Perfect Spot

This place was absolutely lovely. It really did feel like I was at my own grandmas house again. This place was cozy yet spacious with a beautiful view. We definitely plan to come back and stay here again. Thanks again Gretchen for being a fabulous host and welcoming us into your home.

Cozy, comfortable, and clean

This really felt like home once we got settled in. The space is decorated nicely with plenty of space to set out our personal items. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The location was perfect - close to town but secluded for privacy and relaxation.
