We loved our stay here. The layout was perfect for two couples (or a couple and a small family) with bedrooms and living areas on both ends of the house. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Overall a nice property that was as it was listed. The kitchen was well stocked and the open space and windows were really nice. It felt very private. The bed in the master was very comfortable and the air conditioning kept the place nice and cool. My only feedback is that the outside needs some attention. Perhaps we were the first visitors this summer.

Glad the property lived up to its listing — and that the well-stocked kitchen, open space, and big windows made it feel so private and bright! It's great to hear the master bed was comfortable and the AC kept everything nice and cool, too. Thank you for the note about the outdoor space needing some attention; we've passed that along to our team so we can give it some care. We'd love to welcome you back anytime!

Very clean and well equipped, including all the extras! It was perfect place for my mother, who is using a walker. It's very difficult to find a home in the Stockbridge area that is one level and has wide areas for walking around inside.

Very Peaceful and Cozy

House is beautiful and the fireplace and deep soaking tub make it even better! It’s very modern but also cozy. Property manager was quick to respond to texts. Close to the Norman Rockwell Museum and Edith Wharton’s estate. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

We found our zen!

This property is appropriately named! From the moment we arrived a sense of relaxation overcame us. This was the best appointed vacation rental we have found. The owners truly thought of everything. I loved the soaking tub. My favorite moments were spent in the screened in room reading a book. Really enjoyed how the house felt like we were in a quiet sanctuary while we were just 6 miles from Stockbridge. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful 5 night stay

This home is large, full of light and has modern decor. Mostly bare floors so bring slippers/socks for cold nights. Fully appointed kitchen that has everything, including plenty of trash bags, dish soap, pots, pans, dishes, etc. We cooked several meals there and it was easy to do. Bedroom windows have blinds, bathroom windows do not! The house is surrounded by trees but showering in a room with bare windows took some getting used to. There are many light switches that some labeling might be useful! We didn't use the patio room but it seats several. We visiting local attractions and also ventured to Mass MOCA, which was a longer drive but well worth it.

Excellent Location

I booked this house so we could celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday in the Berkshires. The location couldn’t be better. We spent Friday in Great Barrington, Saturday in Stockbridge, and Saturday night we had dinner in Lenox before going to Nightwood at Edith Wharton’s estate. The house itself was great. Huge kitchen with everything we needed to prepare breakfasts, appetisers and light snacks. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and had plenty of towels and yummy smelling toiletries. Nice big dining table seated everyone for cake and ice cream. Plenty of parking, and although the house felt very private, it was easy to find. If I had to make a suggestion, I would have to ask that you replace the bed pillows. All six of us went to Marshall’s to switch out our pillows for the second night. All in all, a wonderful house in a great location. What more could you ask for?

Great modern home, well stocked. The home is not huge, but with 2 living areas, a screened in porch and a large kitchen, we had plenty of room to stretch out.Although on a main road, the house was set back and felt totally private. The location was incredibly convenient, with quick drives to Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lennox, as well as Norman Rockwell Museum, Botanical Gardens, Chesterwood, Tanglewood. Berkshire Mt Bakery and the Common are terrific and just 2 minutes away.A few minor things could be improved - shower could use an adjustable head so you don't have to stand in the drain depression, some cookware is ready for an upgrade. But very minor. Would stay again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful and detailed review! We're so glad the modern, well-stocked home gave you plenty of room to stretch out between the two living areas, screened-in porch, and large kitchen — and that it felt totally private despite being near the main road. It sounds like the location was a real highlight, with quick drives to so many great spots and Berkshire Mountain Bakery and the Common right around the corner. We appreciate you flagging the shower head and cookware, too; that kind of specific feedback is genuinely helpful, and we've passed it along to our team. We'd love to welcome you back anytime — thank you again for staying with us!
